I am so happy that the restaurant I intended to go to dinner at tonight did not update their Christmas Hours online. I got there and it was closed. Thankfully Kenko Hibachi was open a couple of doors down. I had never been there before but usually you know what to expect at any hibachi place, but they are not the typical hibachi joint. Kenko's food was absolutely fantastic, the wait was very short, the staff was very polite, and they even let us eat there when it is posted "To-Go Only". I am super impressed. Their food is so much better than any of the places in town where they make it with a show in front of you. You know which ones I am talking about. Give this place a chance, you won't be disappointed.

Best Hibachi around! My family a I came in a few days back and ordered the Chicken Yakisoba, the Beef Hibachi dinner and the Chicken Hibachi dinner (both dinners came with fried rice and veggies) and Pork Egg rolls .. EVERYTHING WAS AMAZING!! The noodles from the yakisoba were tender and flavorful .. the Hibachi beef was perfectly cooked, super tender with loads of flavor and the Hibachi chicken was the same!! Can I just give a special shout out to the veggies👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 .. like, the BEST veggies I've ever had and a great variety of veggies to eat!! Just go!! Get in the car and go .. eat and enjoy!! Your welcome!!

Really friendly, fast service. The egg rolls weren't consistent at all. One was dripping with grease. They had a good flavor and were massive but I could only eat one. The orange chicken box was delicious. I've also had their cream cheese wonton and it was really good. What I like the most is that their fried rice actually has flavor! Their miso soup was disgusting though. It had HUGE chunks of tofu, was really cloudy, and tasted bitter. I wasn't a huge fan of the takoyaki since it was really soggy. I give 4 stars because of the service and rice/chicken. I've been here a few times and they're always so nice.

Rather good food, BUT awful dine in service. The first time we ate the food it was take out and our experience was pleasant. However, we chose to dine in and the experience was much different. First off, the waiter was wearing his pants low which in a food service establishment should not be tolerated. Secondly, the boba is marked as 4.50 (and only marked as such) on the menu; however it is 5.50 if you get it in a bulb which they apparently default to without asking or letting you know there are two different options, the 4.50 option is in a cup, but there is no way to know this. The waiter was very aloof in terms of actually paying attention to those he was getting orders from and delivering them to. Tables were being server out of order and some were waiting to be served for a while, essentially being ignored without even a "I'll be right with you." Boba orders kept coming out wrong even after corrected. Finally when it came time to pay we split the checks, and the waiter split them wrong and then almost did so again. As we were leaving, he shoveled the change for the food into the tip jar instead of putting it into the register. This is simply not good business practice. Our first experience brought us to dine in, but after this experience I cannot recommend that anyone do so, disorganized, dishonest, and disinterested sums up the establishment's service. With a business model like this I can't imagine it will survive much longer.

EDIT: Since my review, the owner has resorted to message me on my facebook account instead of replying on a the public forum. Attached I have his side. Yes we were given a discount, but that still does not change the fact that their model for selling boba for 5.50 in a bulb while marking it as 4.50 with no options listed or mentioned on the menu is horrible business practice. Was the establishment busy? Yes, but after we had already sat down and ordered. Additionally, many other well established restaurants are able to better handle a busy time. We are done eating here, not only was our dine in experience horrid, but the assumed owner resorted to find me and message me a petty message. This is not professional. I continue to say with awful customer service like this, I can't expect it to last. A professional would take the feedback given and attempt to make changes to...

I ordered a steak meal to go (door dash) it arrived promptly and presentation was a 10/10, their to go boxes are one of a kind compared to the other "fast food" style Japanese restaurants, more to offer in their menu as well so that's a plus to a curious mind. It was very well prepared and taste for the vegetables and rice was of high reguards, but those items are normally the same extending other said restaurants so 8/10 given there was carrots for originality. Yum yum sauce was delicious tasting and of a consistency that of the more expensive show restaurants. To go cups of said sauce is relatively overpriced for their size, that being said was only one size for what I used to order with, I'm unsure the options for to go and staying at the restaurant, but I won't demerit any marks simply on the appeal of the sauce in it's own so 10/10 there. My biggest problem was my meat. I ordered steak, nicely prepared, physically appealing, great texture and appealing to the teeth and tongue texture wise, but the taste? It tasted like bacon. The first bite, even with the sauce I could taste a hint of bacon. Thinking it was just my taste buds acting up I tried a piece on its own, drank water to refresh the pallet, then another, and again another. It all tasted like it was cooked with bacon grease. So the taste of the meat greatly disappointed me, incurring low merits there. That being said, my rankings can be followed so far: Rice 8/10 generic taste but appealing Vegetables 10/10 taste and variety Sauce 10/10 taste and consistency Meat 4/10 taste nothing like the meat ordered Presentation 10/10 uniqueness and appealing. Though I may eat there again, it will be second choice being as my favorite meat from a Japanese restaurant is steak. Hence 4 stars. If you've read all this I applaud you as it took even more time and effort to write this and hope you'll take this into consideration when you order from...

I am writing to express my disappointment with the service I received at this place. My experience was extremely negative, and I feel it is important to bring to your attention the issues I encountered during my visit.

Firstly, the waiters who served my table were not attentive and did not seem to care about our needs. Instead, they spent most of their time talking to their girlfriends at another table, which made me feel like an afterthought. Secondly, despite the restaurant not being full, my party and I had to wait for over an hour to receive our food. After an hour, the waiters presented us with the check and asked us to pay, even though we had not received our order. It was only after another 20 minutes that we finally received our food, which was unacceptable.

To make matters worse, I never received a refill for my drink during the entire meal, and I had to resort to drinking from my friend's cup. The waiters never paid attention to our table and only seemed interested in their personal conversations.

As a paying customer, I found this level of service unacceptable and not reflective of a restaurant that values its customers. I hope that you will take this feedback seriously and take appropriate action to address these issues to ensure that future customers do not have a similar negative experience. The food was very good though, and that is why this is not a 1...
