It seems like the Timberlake La Caretta is off their game, or maybe under new management, because several things surprised me today. It was much harder than normal to get our waiter or any waiter's attention; I wasn't asked if I wanted salad dressing and none came with it, so when I finally successfully flagged someone down to request that, I also noticed that it was unusual that I was brought an entire store-bought bottle of dressing to my table rather than a small bowl with dressing in it; the toilet handle in the bathroom stall that I went to was about to fall off and it was almost not able to be flushed because of that; and the decorative cart with barrels outside broke when a man touched them, and I witnessed a couple of men trying to very hard to get the barrels back on the cart (which they soon did), but it could seriously injure the next passerby to touch it.

Maybe I just had a new waiter who didn't know the ropes very well. The bathrooms are usually pretty clean, and although I have seen them looking gross on occasion, they've never been broken like today. I think I'll just stick to the Wards Road location because I've never had any issues there, and the food is pretty much just as great at any of...

Great atmosphere here it is very authentic with good staff. For the most part out of the many times I have been here the food is great and very affordable. It is the best mexican food you can get in town. I have been in Lynchburg for three years now and have yet to find a better mexican restaurant here. When I think of a good place to get mexican food this is the place I think of. Even when they are packed, which is most of the time, they seem to have room for more people. Only complaint is how busy they stay, but that is a good issue to have and has not kept me from waiting. Of the many times I have been there they are usually packed but I have only had to wait a few times and they were for a short amount of time. I highly recommend getting the chicken talavera here. By far the best dish and you can not find it anywhere else. Great blend of cheese, rice, and grilled chicken. It is to die for.
