It was at noon and our first visit to Popeyes.. My wife and I both ordered a chicken sandwich combo. About 3 minutes after ordering and paying the young lady who had taken our order told me it would be 6 minutes before the chicken would be ready. We sat down to wait on our order. Twenty minutes later they called my name to get my order. When I got our food I asked why it took so long and the employee said they had been told not to cook the sandwich chicken to far in advance. My reply to her was the question, "even at noon, lunch time?" Well, when we tasted the chicken and fries they both tasted like fish. The chicken was too hot to eat and the fries were cold. For $20 for 2 combos I was expecting chicken that tasted like chicken and I didn't expect to have to wait almost 20 minutes to get our food at a fast, ha, ha, food restaurant. Almost 10 minutes later when our sandwich was cool enough to taste and ou fries were ice cold an employee came to us and gave us each a fried apple pie as a peace offering. Sadly she never said were sorry or please come back and give us another chance. She must have been a mind reader because I was about to tell her it was our first and last time to eat there. I guess it was not the first time for her to bring peace offerings. My wife later told me the employee visited 4 tables with peace offerings while we were there. If you like fishy chicken and cold fries and like waiting a long time to get your food, you've found your ideal place to eat. As for us, we're done. Oh, by the way, the fried apple pies were delicious! So go by and get a fried pie. They are worth eating. Don't waist your...
Read moreI am not a customer but a dasher. I have ordered food before from here and was not a fan of the flavors but that is besides the point. I dash this location a lot for other customers and this is just what was observed and clearly wouldn't return for myself. Customer service is lousy. The employees don't speak English nor understand English. As I arrived to the store walked in, a lady was questioning the chicken time. Because the chicken on the trays looked old. The employees said she doesn't know. The customer asked can you prepare fresh chicken and how long will it take. The same employee told her she doesn't speak English and a gentlemen chimed in and said no make fresh chicken too close to closing. This was around 10pm. The lady just took her food. The employee running the drive through was on her phone talking. She had her phone propped between her arm and ear while taking orders, chatting on Spanish to someone on the phone, passing orders out the window with the phone still attached in full conversation to a friend or family member. While still waiting they had an employee just grab food and eat while in plain sight. She even licked her fingers and went straight back to putting together orders with out washing her hands. I feel the poor managed store where the staff does what they want is not a good look for a chain restaurant. I get everywhere everyone is on the phones at work, but should never be on them while dealing with customers. Just poor look on...
Read moreYesterday, I walked into the unlocked Popeyes dining room door. There was no sign on any window or door stating the dining room was closed. I walked to the counter to place an order. Before I could speak, to say hello. A female employee wearing their facial mask under their chin thundered angrily at me yelling " Dining room is closed...drive-thru only." Then a male employee standing behind the chicken counter wearing no mask laughed and chuckled while looking directly at me.
I felt insulted and disrespected.
The fact the dining room was closed could have been communicated to me in a respectful way… specifically in a respectful tone of voice. I calmly left the dining room going back to my car. When I noticed there was no one outside directing the long line of waiting drive-thru customers in the parking lot.
On this visit, I didn't wait in the long line at the drive thru. I left without ordering. In the past, I have waited in the drive-thru line at this location... where I have seen employees smoking behind a tan storage structure on Popeyes's property. Not wearing any face coverings inside the dining room. Once one of my orders were missing items I had been charged for.
After my five visits to this location, I sincerely believe the Popeyes employee’s at this location need more training.
I personally enjoy Popeyes's food but would like to be shown respect by their employees...
