Grant's Burgers — Restaurant in Lynden

I had the worst service ever at the Lynden Grants over the weekend! They were understaffed, which was not their fault & I tried to give them grace, but they did not get my order correct after waiting more than 20 minutes. The cook provided a cheeseburger that was incorrect & sloppy. The fries were soggy & barely warm. Literally the worst food/service I've ever had from them. The cashier must have been new as he was all over the place and was very lost, confused, & overwhelmed doing his job. He kept going outside to review I am guessing an order for a large group that came in after me & left at least 6-10 customers just standing there waiting to be acknowledged, at the least. Some were saying they were going to just go elsewhere as everyone could see things were a disaster & only getting worse. You could literally see the orders sitting under the heat lamp bot getting brought out to waiting customers. As I was leaving I told a customer coming in the door that it was not a great day to eat here & I suggested going elsewhere. This is unfortunate but there needs to be more than 2 staff on a Saturday, especially when there are local events going on & expected to possibly be a busy day. Grants has lost me as a customer. Made it my mission to find the best Grant's. It's hands down the Lynden.

Really nice location and great staff. You can tell the cook actually knows what he's doing. The burgers were cooked and prepared perfectly, the fries were exactly just right, and the front worker nailed the shake perfectly. Skip everywhere else and just go to this one.

Bellingham- the shake tasted terrible. Idk how you mess that up. Like I couldn't put my finger on it, but it's one of those things you know you should stop immediately or you might be sick. The fries didn't taste great. They were slightly undercooked, but passable. The burgers were just ok.

We went in there today. We are visting the area for little over 2 weeks now. We went to Mt. Baker last week and stopped at the one in Deming and it was fantastic. Service was great. More friendly. I'm handicapped and the host in their was very hospitable. Brought menus to our table. They offered more. She came back and got our order and brought our order to table when it was done. That's great service you don't mind tipping over the regular 20%. This one in Lynden today was empty, no cars in parking lot. No phones ringing for take out orders. The two in there were just standing around not doing anything. Nothing cooking. The other store was busy with phone, drive thru, and people coming in. They had a full menu. This one in Lynden needs to close. 👎 We decided to go down and get chicken at Pop-eyes....
