LONG OVERDUE UPDATE: MARCH 2022

After two very long, trying years with post office shenanigans, border closures (we live in Canada, but are U.S. citizens), and a LOT of difficulties with figuring out the best way to get our stuff delivered, I am writing again to say what a treasure I consider the staff and service at this mailbox to be. My husband and I are being well cared for, as we have navigated the twists and turns of the COVID pandemic. These people CARE, and they do a wonderful job. I appreciate you, Chris, Sam & staff, for hanging in there, and especially for you staying in business. I wouldn't want anyone else handling our over-the-border mail. I miss you guys, and hope we will be blithely crossing the border again. I always looked forward to stopping by for a kind welcome, and a joke or two. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ALL THE GREAT SERVICE OVER THE YEARS. SOME THINGS NEVER CHANGE. I DEPEND UPON YOU, AND YOU ARE THERE!!!

I have utilized the mail services at this shop for many years. Every one of my interactions, with all who work there, have been professional. I plan my mailing errands around when I will be in Lynden just to utilize this shop. My home is a 30 minute drive away, and there are multiple mail shops much closer to my home that I pass by regularly. However this mail shop in Lynden has proved itself worth the drive. They are accurate and make mailing items easy. Sadly I can’t say the same for the shops in Bellingham. I highly recommend this Lynden mail shop. You can be confident that you will be treated with curtesy and your mailing needs...

Super convenient, very helpful and patient staff. Location itself is quaint with cool antiques and such inside.

Not a negative against The Mailbox, but just an FYI for users - if you are ordering a very small item that could possibly just be put into a standard envelope, USPS will likely regard it as "mail" instead of a package, and they will likely intercept and send it back, thus you will not receive it.

If there is ANY doubt what type of container your item will come in, best to contact the seller upfront to confirm, or you will not...
