Unfortunately I never got a chance to taste this food because every time I was willing to give it a chance I was met by a rude attitude and the owner cutting me off as I was trying and get information. On Google, it states the restaurant closes at 9 but when I got there there was another customer waiting for his food to which he politely let me know that they close at 830 and never changed the info on Google. As I was speaking to the customer the owner yelled from the back they were closing, I asked was there anymore food left since someone else was still in there, and the owner stated that he had more than enough food left, he just didn’t wanna give it out. I explained that I wasn’t sure what time they had closed because it states online that they closed at 9 and I had arrived at 835 and afterwards I stated my apologies but that he didn’t have to speak to me in that rude tone and instead of acknowledging it, he stated that’s how he speaks and to deal with it. Never even got to have an answer experience if the food and to be honest I don’t want to if someone so rudely treats their...
Read moreOh man, lemme tell you, this just became my favorite new takeaway spot for Bbq. What struck me at first was the price, extremely reasonable and budget friendly. A whole dinner set up with a couple sides will only put ya 11 bucks back. Owner/staff was extremely welcoming, and has some good history behind his food. Sauce is full bodied and one of the most flavorful I’ve had in a while, even better that my now second favorite spot on Kinsman. Chicken is crispy, juicy and seasoned so well that it cuts through the sauce so graciously ladled on top -for no charge!-. Beans are great, seasoned just as well as the meats. Fries were the standard frozen it seemed, but again this heaven-sent sauce drowned anything negative I really had to say about them. Devoured meal in minutes. Have yet to try ribs but have an inkling I’m in for an even better time, until then quit reading...
Read moreI think the meat is delicious. I’ve had the pulled pork sandwich twice and the chicken once. The meat and the sauce are perfect. There are a couple things that could improve, one being the buns they use. Their buns are too “stiff” or “dense” maybe? They aren’t light and airy and fluffy. It definitely feels like too much bread in my sandwich. The other thing is the sides. When I got French fries, there weren’t very many at all. And the Mac n Cheese wasn’t the best. There’s wasn’t really a creamy cheese sauce. Just melted, stringy cheese chunks on cooked noodles. I think Big B’s has a lot of potential, and I’d love to see them stick around the...
