Mar-Lou Shoes — Local services in Lyndhurst

I returned to Mar-Lou Shoes yesterday to purchase a pair of shoes for my vacation. Much to my surprise, Mary remembered me, where I lived and what I bought almost a year ago. She greeted me with a smile and found me the perfect pair of casual shoes. She truly is a wonderful person and knows her business well. There is no reason for me to shop anywhere else or buy from anyone else other than Mary, she is truly appreciated.

Today was my first visit to Mar-Lou Shoes but I am sure it won't be my last because of the exceptional service I got from Mary. She asked me a few key questions about the issues I have with my feet, measured them and the rest all fell into place. She was pleasant, knowledgeable and was able to find two pair of shoes that fit me well, gave me the support and comfort that I need and that are actually stylish. Never once did I feel pressured to buy which is why I wound up buying both pair of shoes rather than one. I will be needing some casual shoes for summer and will make sure I see Mary when I am...

Kia was great! I wasn’t expecting to find any shoes especially the last day of the sale. Kia was able to identify with my dilemma long and narrow feet something that came with age. She was able to find a second pair in a size11so I could take advantage of the additional 20% off with the purchase of the second pair! Thank you Kia, I will be looking for you when I return to shop for boots.

Last Saturday 6/8 Kia assisted me again in finding a pair of comfortable, versatile black Sandals. I went in ready to purchase a particular style I saw online that happened to be on sale and ended buying the ones pictured below (not on sale) very comfortable, versatile. Another patron visiting from Oregon was there trying a pair on in white loves this brand for their comfort, said she can’t get them in Oregon so when she comes to Cleveland she asks her friends to bring her to Mar-Lou Shoes.

Kia, and I are now “sole mates” I love my Wolky’s and will be getting another pair...

Excellent customer service and fully stocked - I was greeted by Frank and he first took me to the sale shoes. When I didn't find what I wanted he took me to the full price shoes. He was knowledgeable, helpful, and attentive. We tried on multiple shoes, all in stock. He then showed me the orthotic inserts. They really care about you and make sure you know that your business is greatly appreciated. Definitely recommended.

I also went to Famous Footwear and Foot Solutions and Kohls. Kohls was the least expensive with very low foot stability. Famous Footwear shoes are not quite as good for stability but were lower priced than Mar-Lou Shoes. Foot Solutions was definitely the best for orthotics and most knowledgeable, but most expensive. Mar-Lou was a great middle-road solution for those that don't have major foot problems or can't afford Foot Solutions, but want better support than...
