If I could give this place ZERO stars I would. This is the 2nd time they've cancelled my Uber Eats order at the last minute without notifying me and it happened on a holiday last time too. There's nothing like getting to the bakery on time to pick up your order only to be told that they don't know what order you're talking about.

If your business can't handle the online volume that comes with the holidays than don't utilize Uber Eats. Today was the wrong day for them to do this again. Long story short, the customer service after this happened stinks!! The loud mouth, nasty manager kept arguing back and forth with me that no one there cancelled the order and told me to call Uber Eats because they've been having issues with them lately. NO, YOU call Uber Eats and straighten out your ongoing issues with them. It's not my business, it's yours!!! All she had to do was fill the order and take responsibility for their mistake. Sounds pretty easy to me. Well, she refused to fill the order and made my son wait outside in 8 degree weather in an hour long line while I reordered it.

She kept repeating that the bakery has been there for over 75 years and that my spreading the word that this happened doesn't matter. I guess she never heard of the customer is always right. This is customer service 101!!!

It's Christmas Eve or else I'd be going elsewhere. My family has been going here for years, but this is the last time we'll ever go here again. There are too many other bakeries out there who will be happy to take my hard...

Grew up on this stuff since the early 70s and it's a shame seeing this establishment almost totally diluting themselves over the years till the present day. The customer service is like they don't even want you to buy anything or respect you for your patronage anymore. For God's sake am I the only person that realized that's the cookies changed in size and the recipes!? And nevermind the prices they are constantly more and more through the roof. The other day I purchased an almost 70 dollar birthday cake and they told me they couldn't put string around the box... Really!??? ...string?! And how about I said to the girl oh ok since the total is a little over $60.00 round it up to $70.00 with cookies how much cookies do you think that will be and she ignored me and just asked what cookies do I want in the box but after each cookie choice I keep asking is that 70? And still no answer but what other cookies? Sure enough she's weighs them and takes the box and what to you know 74.50 🤣 I love it you can't write this stuff. I've been trying other bakeries lately it's just a shame that my only place I would go for my baked goods...

Tldr: Avoid this bakery because you owe yourself at least a decent sweet.

How does this place have 4 stars, I want to give it a 0 if I could. Most 4 star reviews are either fake or people seriously haven't tried any decent bakery outside Lyndhurst. I gave this place 3 chances being in the neighborhood but it disappointed me more every time.

Every single item in this shop is not even technically made well, over sweet and just a fast track to your diabetes. They use the most artificial tasting ingredients, for example the eclairs filled with a creamy toxicity not known to man. A real italian will be enraged at that atrocity.
