Summary: A great spot if you’re craving dumplings/potstickers. Their chive and shrimp dumplings are fresh and flavorful, making it worth a visit. However, I wouldn’t recommend the Dan Dan noodles as they fall short of authenticity. Service is quick and polite, run by what seems to be a hardworking couple. Overall, it’s a solid choice for dumplings, earning four stars.

Ambience (4/5): The atmosphere is simple and no-frills, but it’s comfortable and welcoming. It’s a cozy spot to enjoy a casual meal, especially if you’re in the mood for dumplings. The focus here is clearly on the food, which is the main attraction.

Authenticity (3/5): The dumplings are definitely the highlight, and the chive shrimp variety stands out as fresh and flavorful. However, the Dan Dan noodles were a letdown. They arrived in a stone bowl/pot, which looked unusual, and the taste was just okay—definitely not authentic. You can find better versions of Dan Dan noodles elsewhere.

Flavor (4/5): The chive shrimp dumplings were fresh, with a great balance of flavor. I really enjoyed how the chive complemented the shrimp. However, the Dan Dan noodles were underwhelming in both presentation and taste. Stick to the dumplings—they’re what the restaurant does best.

Cost (4/5): For the quality and portion sizes, the prices are reasonable. You’ll get a solid meal without breaking the bank, especially if you focus on the dumplings, which are definitely worth the price.

Service (5/5): The service was excellent. It seems to be a couple running the restaurant, and they were fast, efficient, and very polite. The speed of the service really impressed me, and they made the dining experience smooth and enjoyable.

Tips for Visiting:

Stick to the dumplings: The dumplings are the star of the show here, especially the chive shrimp dumplings. I’d recommend focusing on these and skipping the Dan Dan noodles. Quick service: The service is speedy and polite, so even during busy times, you won’t have to wait long for your food. Casual spot: If you’re looking for a casual place with good dumplings, this is a great choice. The ambiance is simple, but it’s all about...

This was a very hard review to do, after scrolling thru google again looking for dinner stumbled upon this establishment. Saw it had very positive high reviews so decided to come by one after noon. Was greeted with a nice smile from the cashier/waitress and after putting my order i was treated with nothing but friendly hospitality so a Plus on that. Here is were the honest truth comes. I ordered lamb and onion dumplings and tofu Dan Dan noodles my usual go to’s at any dumpling place the Dumpling were great in size very juicy and each bite was pure enjoyment. But sadly the Dan Dan noodles were not it. The tofu was soft which I am a fan of soft tofu but was was wrong was too brittle ended up breaking into mush and soaking into the noodles, the sauce for the Dan Dan was really disappointing was not a thick consistency so nothing held on to the noodles and had a strange water consistency which I was not a fan of. Would recommend passing on the dish also for the price of almost 15 dollars really hurt . But other than that I would recommend the dumplings! They were very tasty and would come back for another round of dumplings! Come check this place out if you are a fan of that...

You guys, I'm in love. Came in for the soft opening. The food just feels homemade. Simple, fresh, no nonsense, perfectly executed.

To start, the drinks. The taro milk tea was the best we've had in the US. Not too sweet, not powdery. The owner said it was fresh made this morning. The milk tea with boba was fresh, homemade boba. Better than mustache milk tea nearby and certainly the best I've had from a restaurant. A pleasant surprise.

On to the food. The beef noodle soup was lovely. The noodles were melt in your mouth. The broth was simple and clean. The beef, probably oxtail? Was lovely. Perfect comfort food. Add chili oil, you won't regret it.

The steamed buns are excellent. Steamed to perfection, the dough has a great bite and the fillings are generous. The dumplings were also a hit. Feels like I'm having dinner in someone's kitchen. Everything prepared that day, nothing frozen.

I'm so glad this restaurant exists. I hope you come enjoy the genuineness and comfort this...
