After moving to Macclenny and seeing a new restaurant ive never heard of before. We went twice and both times were disappointing. The 1st time my daughter got shrimp, it was so salty that it was not edible there were hard chunks of batter on the shrimp. She had to peel all of it off to eat what she could. My other daughter got chicken tenders and it was the same thing, so they're either over salting it or using their batter too long. They were also not cheap, their meals were the same cost as a sit down restaurant. 2nd we ask for a flurry type ice cream with mixed candy in it their machine was down , ok np. We get to the window and see someone making ice-cream so I asked I thought ur machine was down? Well that's our shake machine it's not, ok well give us a shake then pls, she was not pleased. So I waited months and decided to try it again today. I get the smash burger, it's ok nothing to write home about. I get my son the bacon chicken tender sub. So we get home and the 1st thing I notice is there's mayo leaking from the side and the paper is falling apart and its saturated bc it was wrapped poorly, ok no biggie. We live 5 mins away so it couldn't be that it sat there long. Then he opens his sub and there's literally a tablespoon and 1/2 of some cold tan/ brown shredded meat on there.. My sons like what the heck is this? So I call and ask what's supposed to be on the #4 and find out apparently there's another sandwich similar to that 1 that has shredded chicken or whatever it was and they gave me the wrong thing. She says do u want to speak the GM? Im thinking u messed up so I have to re-explain this all again? I said no I'm good. She was very nice but I had to log back into work and didn't have time to run back up there. I think it's safe to say that Motlees is a no go for us, I've learned my lesson. It's just disappointing I'm not able to take them out or even get fast good often as a now widowed single mom of 3, my spouse suddenly passed 30 days after purchasing our dream home in Nov 2022. First, ordering a shrimp basket was extremely difficult because I could not hear the associate. I had to ask her to repeat every single thing she said. When I came to the window, I noticed her microphone was 6-8" from her mouth. I nicely suggested she should move it a lot closer to her lips so it could be effective, she stated she just speaks quietly... More the reason to move the mike closer. She just stared at me, turned around and walked away. The food was brought out by a different girl. She stuck the bag out the window without even looking in my direction. I took the bag and said thank you. She closed the window without acknowledging me or even looking... Very rude! PLEASE TEACH YOUR ASSOCIATES BASIC MANNERS AND CUSTOMER SERVICE! We have choices and your goal should be to convince us to choose you.
The food was, again, disappointing. The graphics show the shrimp on a bed of waffle fries. There were no fries in the container; just about a dozen cocktail size shrimps and a small bun with a pad of butter. They did include what looked like 2 hash brown potatoes or mashed potato patties in a separate bag. They were soft and mushy, and saturated with grease. After one bite, I tossed this mystery, greasy patty to my dog who caught it and promptly spit it out! No joke! The shrimp were ok. Overall, not a good experience and I'm not that picky of a person. Sorry MotLee's, you failed at the basics (customer service) and the food was mediocre at best. Please do better.

I was disappointed that my French fries were were old and not very warm at all. Both the quantity and the quality of the fries was super disappointing. The bang bang shrimp was good but I'm still hungry after it. You would think for 16 bucks (no drink)I would have got a little bit more, I couldn't eat the fries they were inedible not that there was much there anyway. The one really good thing I can say is the little cup of honey mustard sauce was filled all the way up to the top if you go to Zaxby's same owner, you're lucky if they fill the sauce cup a quarter way up and if you want to get more you have to pay extra for another 1/4 cup. Just get smaller cups if you want to give less to the customer because then it doesn't look like you're being cheated. I remember back in the day how wonderful zaxby was and they would fill the cups all the way to the top it does matter because if I'm using the sauce for dipping it's never enough if you just put a little quarter of cup. One time I paid extra for cups and when I didn't get them I asked about it they're like we gave it to you and I looked through the whole bag I showed them and they're like we gave it to you but they didn't and I paid for it and I had it on my receipt that I paid for the extra. They need to change their attitudes. If you don't want to help customers then get out of the customer...
