For starters, we had to repeat one part of our order four different times despite it being the first part of the order. When we added fries, he asked again what sandwich we wanted (it happening once is understandable). But it became weird when he verbally acknowledged that he added the sandwich to the order, then at the end he repeated the order without it. When my boyfriend added that he forgot the sandwich, the man on the other side went quiet for about 2 minutes (very awkward silence btw) then repeated our order without the same sandwich again. So, we repeated it again. After this it became obvious why it had taken so long to get to the order speaker. Then with two people in front of us, it took about 40 minutes to get up to the window. However, we got charged for the wrong order. Which wasn't obvious at first because they didn't ask what order we had, and because we had forgotten the exact total they gave us by the time we arrived at the window. We had to wait for a while to get the original order that wasn't ours refunded (which is supposedly supposed to arrive back in my boyfriend's account in 20-48 hours). By the time we actually got our food, it was soggier than typical fast food and lukewarm.
I don't know if everyone on shift was in training, but that shouldn't be happening...
Read moreI hate writing negative reviews, but sometimes it's unavoidable! Previously I rated this Arbys with 5 stars. Recently went there for lunch and waited, no exaggeration, 17-20 minutes in the drive through! People were leaving the line! Then, when I get there, the young lady says $11.65 please...we don't have diet soda". Asks me what I want instead, so I said water please! Gets me the water and says "that'll be $11.65 please" (she was very polite) and I questioned why the price didn't go down and she told the meal cost the same with water or drink! Nope. I drove off. It's not her fault if that's Arby's policy to charge me $2 for a water after making me waste my entire allotted luch time and not getting what I wanted. I don't blame her at all. Went straight across the street and Burger King was happy to take my $$!lol I know- I'm really the bad guy here in this review because I drove off (w/out food or drink) but staying that long, being told I had to pay full price for a water and not hearing any sort of contrition for taking so long (c'mon- that was my lunchtime!) I snapped. Sorry. Wish the...
Read moreThe drive thru lady was very professional. I've always loved Arby's, my favorite is the beef and cheddar however my husband and I ordered the double beef and cheddar but mine hardly had any cheddar at all and was very very dry and hard to choke down. My husband said his was extremely dry as well. My daughter got the classic chicken sandwich, her tomatoes and lettuce weren't on her sandwich (no we didn't order it that way) the lettuce made a huge mess when she open her wrapper and her lettuce and tomato fell. She was very upset because she loves tomatoes but didn't get to eat hers. We'll go to Keokuk Arby's for now on because I've never had my order so jacked up before. Also with the car in front of us I watched the drive thru lady gave them 2 giant hand fulls of sauce but when I asked for sauce we got 3 packets of Arby's sauce. It wasn't even enough for me and my husband to use on a quarter of our VERY DRY beef and cheddar. I'm very upset that this was my first bad experience...
