Anderson's Diner — Restaurant in Macon

First time customer. Initially ordered meatloaf, collards and mac and cheese. Decided to change my meat before the tall skinny girl fixed it and she had the worst, disgusting attitude as if was an inconvenience to her. She is rude and nasty and lask customer service on every level. I decided to change my mind way before she fixed my order. She threw the Styrofoam container down and rolled her eyes as she walked towards the cashier. At this point I knew the food would be unpleasant and it was! Collards were under cooked and lacked flavor, same with the meat, it wasn't seasoned and the mac and chesse was just as horrible. Lemonade was half decent. I won't return! & i would've left if it wasn't for family members patronizing and paying for my food.The cleanliness of the establishment is just as bad as the skinny girl demeanor. Carpet is dirty looking and several tables had crumbs. The skinny girl didn't wear a hair net, gloves or any sanitary...

I listen ahead of me & heard people with meat plus 2-3 vegetables with a total of $21,24,$19. What confuses me is you’ll think a vegetable plate would be one of the cheapest but I had 2 vegetables plates the girl said my total was $26.82 when I told her I using card she said it would change to $31.18 I asked the girl so yall charge over $4 for a card fee she said yes. That immediately pissed me off cause I have never been some where, where you already paying over $20 & they charge u a made up card fee & the crazy part is I was going there when they was located on pio Nono & would always get the same thing & the price would never be the same but the fact that they relocated I thought ill give them another chance but they will never get my business again. Any restaurant that don’t have a posted menu where u can see the price is an immediately Red flag, they just be adding shit up...

I really enjoyed this spot. It's not close to my area but if I'm up in Macon and I'm wanting soul food... I'm going here. And... I was there for the oxtails... and pork chops... but one Sunday I might have to try their chitlins. I had read about over salted food, rudeness and not answering the phone in others posts.... I did not have that experience. I mean with the phone complaints... imma just say... this is the same as a barber getting calls while you're in their chair... would want them answering the phone while you're there in person being served and they stop fixing your plate everytime the phone rang.... maybe they could set up a daily message to tell when they are open and announce holiday hours on an answering machine. Anyways, portions are pretty generous. Made a few meals of the 3...
