Burger King — Restaurant in Macon

This has been a truly remarkable bad visit. We entered the drive thru at 8:30PM. We were not able to place our order for 10 minutes, and the only reason we didn't leave was that we were boxed in and unable to without driving down a ravine. The time on the receipt on our bag was 8:45PM.

The person taking our order barely spoke to us, asking "what do you want", "what's your name" and then "pull around". After another 10 minutes, we finally reached the first window. The cashier did not appear until after we had waited for 5 minutes, and visibly played with their phone for several minutes before opening the window, taking our card without speaking to us, running it, and not giving us a receipt.

Eventually we got to the pickup window. The employee opened the window, asked "what your name is?", then closed it and walked away. After a minute or so he came back and asked my name again. Then he left and got in an argument with another employee. Eventually he gave us our food and closed the window without speaking another word. At this time it was 9:12PM.

We ordered two value meals. We received children's drinks, and the drinks were incorrect. The fries were dry and cold, as were the two burgers. We did not receive the Hershey pie we ordered at all.

In total we spent nearly an hour in the drive thru to get an incomplete, incorrect, cold order from employees who barely acknowledged us.

It should be noted that the only receipt we received was the receipt on the bag, which doesn't show the cost of the order or the store number; this seems like a great way for employees to make it hard for people to complain about...

I'm about to give up on the food at the Burger King restaurants. Their food has gotten so nasty over the last several years. To top it off. It's never hot. Always either like warm or just cold. No one likes cold burgers and fries. Especially, if you're paying these high prices that take out food coast. I've even taken my food back and told them that it wasn't hot only for them to hand me another warm burger. Yep! I think I'm throwing in the towel at Burger King restaurants. About ready to give up on all take out food. I don't know what they use for meat but it tastes worse than dog food smells and that's pretty bad. And this X- Generational group of people that work at these places act like they don't care one way or another. And not just about your food but anything and everything. I don't get it. People, we need to teach our kids how to work, be responsible and take pride in what they do. No matter what it is. And last but definitely not least, be respectful. Put your phones down. Better yet! Leave your phone in your car and do your work. It's what you're getting paid to do. Grow up! If I were your supervisor. I would fire any one of you that I caught at work and was on the time clock who had a phone on them. Whether I see you using it or not. Ok so June 1, 2025 I went here approximately 8:03pm due to me not having time to prepare dinner for me and the kids an having to take them out of town right after we get food we stayed in line till 9:06pm no apologies it was very frustrating to be at a restaurant that’s one way in drive through you can’t back up due to it being 6 cars being behind you tried calling the complaint line it’s bogus numbers yes BK YOU HAVE LOST ME AN MY FAMILY BUSINESS STOP HIRING TEENS WHO DONT EVEN WANT TO RESPECT THEY PARENTS WHAT MAKE YALL THINK THEY CAN RUN YALL RESTAURANT I REALLY WANTED MY MONEY BACK AN TO SPEAK MY PEACE BUT I CAN TELL THE MANGER SHE/HE WOULD HAVE MADE A ISSUE JUST OFF HER/HIS LIPS POKING OUT THE WHOLE TIME AN CLOSING YHE STORES EARLY NOW THATS ANOTHER SITUATION CAUSE WHY THOUGH YOU CANT DRESS AN ACT LIKE A MAN AN NOT DO THE WORK A MAN WOULD DO VERY PISSED US AS A COMMUNITY NEED HELP AS FAR AS BEING PEOPLE ORIENTED AN KIND AN FRIENDLY THIS IS SAD CAUSE MOST OF THE RESTAURANTS IS JUST LIKE THIS BUT TAKING OUR MONEY AN BOT CARING ABT GIVING US COLD FOOD BUT WHEN THEY GO ON BREAK THEY FOOD HOT BUT US AS CUSTOMERS ARE PAYING FOR YOUR FOOD LITTLE DID THESE KIDS REALIZE WAKE UP PEOPLE STOP LETTING THESE COMPANIES AN TEENS GET AWAY THIS TREATMENT AN TAKING OUR...
