If you love billiards, you will LOVE The Dawg House. The food is awesome and the bartenders are knowledgeable. Tina, Dennis, or Monica will keep you well-lubricated and smiling.
Now, let's talk pool. 10 Diamond pool tables are kept in pristine condition. Randy believes in quality. He demands it of his staff, as he demands it of himself. And he gets it. Their quality shows in every aspect of The Dawg House Bar&Grill. From the moment you walk in the door, you get the relaxed laid-back feeling that only your favorite bar can give you.
Billiard cues and repair are also offered by The Dawg House. Ask at the bar about tip repair or cue purchasing. If you need a carbon shaft or an eye-catching high-end cue stick, Randy and Company can provide it.
I love playing the game of pool. The only issue I have ever had with my love for billiards is that the environments you have to haunt to get a match are almost always less than idyllic. Billiards/Pool is a bar room sport. This means you generally have a lot of competitive spirits mixed with a lot of alcoholic spirits. This is a recipe for high drama or flat-out violence. But here, at The Dawg House Bar and Grill, you will be able to enjoy your favorite pastime in a completely drama-free environment. Or at the very least the drama is on the pool table between the competitors, never in the bar between a bunch of drunks. Been playing here for more than a year now and haven't seen one fight or even a shouting match. Just good clean competition.
Randy and Kathy both love the sport and it shows in the upkeep of the tables and the ambiance of the bar itself.
P.S. There's a fella named Tony that you may or may not have the privilege of meeting or speaking with. He's the cook. But to call him a cook is an understatement in my opinion. The man is a chef. Eat the food. And by all means, order the tacos! You WILL NOT be disappointed!! At times he is way more Gordon Ramsay than he is Rachel Ray, but always his creations are...
Read moreOwner was very disrespectful to the customers by grabbing a item(pool stick) of the customer. Then the he then told them "I can touch what I want ". This statement came after he(owner) was told not to be grabbing the stick of the customer by the customer. These customers were playing amongst themselves when they were approached with this behavior. Also there was no disrupting acts, sounds, etc to give the owner any reason to display this type of attitude. Now once this all took place they were asked to leave which they did respectfully. The owner proceeds to say you don't know who i am I can touch what I want to in here. Then the customer says not my stick. This once again a terrible attitude and display of abuse of power of position by someone who obviously judges a book...
