J&F Caribbean Delight — Restaurant in Macon

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ OH MY GOD. Those are the first words that came out of my boyfriend’s mouth after he started eating—and not just once. He kept hollering it over and over, so naturally, I panicked. “What’s wrong?!” I asked. I thought something had gone sideways. Turns out, nothing was wrong… except he couldn’t handle how good the food was.

For context, my boyfriend is ex-military, has traveled the world, eaten at some of the best spots across multiple countries and the U.S., and this man erupted over food that sat in a container for an HOUR while we drove home. Yes, this food is THAT good—it literally left him speechless (well, aside from yelling “OH MY GOD”).

This is the best Caribbean food we’ve ever had, hands down. Every bite transported us to another level of happiness. If this food had that effect on a well traveled, no-nonsense veteran, imagine what it can do for you.

Run, don’t walk, to this place. And if you hear someone shouting “OH MY GOD” in the distance, it’s probably another happy customer losing their mind over how good this food is.

[Update] We went back a few days later and ordereded pretty much the same things… OxTail, Mac & Cheese, Greens, beef patties; and the food remains...

Food is fantastic!!, However the woman at the counter is quite rude and a bit racist.. my first trip there she sat on her phone the entire time while I was giving my order and she would roll her eyes and talk to me like I’m stupid … I figured oh well maybe she’s having a bad day .. next time I come in I see her smiling and being pleasant to the people before me in line and once again treats me like I’m just complete garbage… The only conclusion I could see is perhaps she doesn’t like or respect white people .. even though I tried to be as respectful and nice as I could “yes ma’am” “no ma’am” “how are you today!” “Have a great day!” .. even though the food is great and close to where I live I will continue to go to island pot where I am treated with respect by hard working people with smiles on their faces

I spent 18$. Got a oxtail plate with cabbage and mac n cheese. Beef Pattie and coco bread. 18$. The pros: It was delish. Filling AND fresh. Cons: not enough meat for price. This is not a place i can eat everyday. Maybe once a week. The girl at counter is rude af

Just got my normal plate of oxtails Mac cabbage coco bread and beef Pattie. It's enough for lunch and dinner. It was fresh, tasted good. The Customer service is much better when the man is there.9/5/18

7/7/2020. Trying to place a order on GrubHub with them. A medium oxtail plate $30? Medium jerk chicken $18.20? The site doesn't give a description of the meals. Nor does it allow you to choose two meats with the two meat combo. So I guess I won't be eating good tonight, cause I dont feel like driving to get the accurate prices.
