I am writing this with immense disappointment and emotional frustration following an appalling experience at KFC (3837 Bloomfield Rd., Macon, GA) on Sunday, October 5th, involving the store/shift manager on duty. After returning with a visibly incorrect order that clearly required a remake, I was met not with professionalism or an apology—but with a shockingly rude, condescending, and dismissive attitude that left me feeling humiliated and devalued. What followed was even more disturbing: a clear refusal to return the correct change that I was unquestionably owed, despite both myself and another employee pointing it out. This felt like a deliberate and degrading attempt to take advantage of me, right in front of my face. It was not only ethically indefensible—it was deeply insulting. The entire exchange left me feeling stereotyped, mistreated, and robbed of the basic respect every customer deserves. To add insult to injury, the store itself was in deplorable condition: unsanitary surfaces, smudges everywhere, zero visible cleaning behind high traffic, and a generally chaotic, neglected atmosphere that reflects poor management and even poorer standards. This level of negligence, both in conduct and cleanliness, is a stain on the brand and should be reviewed at the corporate level immediately. I do not leave negative reviews unless absolutely warranted—but this was a complete failure of customer service, leadership, and decency. I expect this will be addressed internally, and I am fully prepared to escalate the matter if needed. “Wolly World” is ALWAYS HIRING. SMH. I can’t really decide where I wanted to go so I decided that you know what I’m gonna go to KFC I was gonna spend $10 got in the drive-through and you know I ended up being about to spend about $30 which is fine so would really my pet peeve about the whole thing was Kids playing so at the window all you can hear is chuckles a bunch of laughter and playing at the window so as I get up to close to the window, I can see two kids. I guess their friends to whoever works there and they’re playing in the order window so to show them how I felt about being played with while I was ordering my food. I put my window up and I drove away so now I’m going to sharks and I’m sure I’m gonna spend about 50 bucks but I promise you there are no kids running back-and-forth the drive-through window playing with their friend that works there. I'm trying to order in the drive thru and whoever was taking my order was laughing and talking with others in the background so I was about sure my order was wrong. I get to the window and asked for a repeat and sure enough it was wrong. I repeated my order 4 times and it still wasn't right and this is at the window. I was told we had to wait 4 mins on fries and said that was fine. During my 4th time repeating the order, a girl comes over to the window and says they still here?? Yall need to park and we gon bring your food...we got 3 mins on fries. I was ordering for 10 mins trying to make sure my order was right. So we parked and waited 20 mins for 4 min fries and the order was still wrong. $40 worth of wrong food AND attitude. Yall will not be getting any more money from me. Thanks a bunch...
