Joe D's On Ingleside — Restaurant in Macon

I have never left a review but after reading The Telegraph today I have to defend one of my favorite lunch spots. Joe D's IS ALWAYS a good choice-if the line is 10 deep, as Mr. Wright says, Joe & Karen are obviously doing things right. The salads and sandwiches are made to order and I have never been disappointed. If you are lucky enough to get a slab of ribs to take home you have hit a home run. You are always greeted with a warm smile and the food is always plentiful and good. Every time I have lunch there I see a lot of the same people and always a few new faces. Man I love some Joe D's! I used to work on Ingleside and Ingleside Pizza was my go to lunch place before I discovered this place! A friend of mine had told me to give it a try because it was one of Macon hidden gems oh, so I did. And thank God! I don't know if we are able to cook & package Jesus himself in these sandwiches, but I'm willing to bet that if we were able to, they would taste like they do here at Joe D's. Your website shows that you are open until 2:30 this afternoon; however, after driving across town, I find that you are closed. As I sat in my car over a span of 15 minutes, I saw 4 other groups walk to your door to also realize you are closed. It would be nice if you informed people through your website when you will reopen.
