So at 8:50.a.m. this morning my dad and I stopped at mothers barbecue and breakfast for some breakfast. I do not come here often and hardly at all, however upon arriving we pulled up horizontally by the steps to the entrance like we ALWAYS do and I asked my dad if I needed to park elsewhere or was this okay? He stated "No this was fine, he parks there all the time." I sat in the car and waited for him to come back out after purchasing his food.
After sitting in the car for maybe about 3 to 5 minutes a lightskinned lady with a pimpstrip apron on in a black BMW pulls up behind me and honks the horn. I was not sure if they were honking at me or someone else. Then I heard someone rudely knocking on my car and said abruptly "you can't park here, this is not a parking space". I said oh (as I was caught off guard), well I'm sorry but you did not have to be rude and she stated "I wasn't rude" even though she clearly was and only wanted me to move so she could park there because she was initially parked in the back.
My dad came out and got in the car. I couldn't respond the way I truly desired to because I had to take my dad to work but I called back and spoke to Ms Tammy who is an ABSOLUTE DOLL🥰in her professionalism and customer service as well as her management skills.
I asked was that a manager that did that, and Ms.Tammy stated yes it was.I asked her if the owners were available and if not when they would be because I needed to know why this INDIVIDUAL felt as if it was okay to not only single me out but as a so called manager there are ways, and then there are ways that you talk to people. She informed me that the owners were out of town but I could call back next week to speak with them about my experience. I also asked her do people park there ? And she stated yes. I then asked so why did she feel as if it was "okay" to knock on my car and be rude to me?
Ms.Tammy stated I apologize for this experience. I appreciated Ms.Tammy and her wonderful hospitality. However the other manager is a perfect example of what they mean when they say "Everyone in management does not know business". When you are in business you know that if it wasn't for your customers you would not have a business to operate so treat your customers and people...
Read moreMy experience here was excellent. We ordered several items: fried chicken, cheese eggs and French toast ( Highly Recommend), shrimp and grits plus 2 sides of fish, beef sausage, chicken sausage and breakfast potatoes! The pineapple pink lemonade was amazing. The customer service, knowledge of menu items and great recommendations was refreshing. I felt at home here and the food was delicious. I like my grits a touch more dense and not too runny but it worked well the potatoes, shrimp and fish! The chef was smiling and happy, friendly ( spoke to us as the employees welcomed us in) we were checked on and asked about our experience. I’m so happy we stopped in and skipped the hotel breakfast. These meal reminded me of weekends at my mother in law house with all our family. Even though it wasn’t crowed when we patronized it, it felt full of...
