Main Ground Coffee — Restaurant in Madison Township

They had the Peepin' Good Latte for Easter, and that was a great excuse for me to drive out on Friday and try a new coffee shop. I ordered the latte, and left a tip. It was made quickly and she sat it down on the counter and called my name. I noticed it did not look like the picture. I had to wait for her to finish with another customer to ask for the topping, and she grabbed it and said, "I didn't know you wanted the topping"... I thought, doesn't it come with it? I didn't ask to not have it. While I waited, my friend asked what was wrong and I told him that I wanted the yellow whip and fruit loops like in the picture and the barista interjected from the back counter and said they were out of the yellow whip. She handed it back to me but didn't top it with the fruit loops as shown, but I didn't bother asking about it. The whole point of ordering that special latte is that you get a latte that has special flavors/toppings! It's why I drove out.

I was most disappointed in the drink itself. It was very milky, as you can probably tell in the picture. I didn't taste much coffee even after shaking it up. The "peep" flavor was very light, didn't taste like marshmallow, maybe slight vanilla. Overall, it just tasted like sweet milk with a hint of coffee. If the flavor was great then I wouldn't have cared so much about the topping but overall it was not a good experience.

The inside was very nice and clean. I loved the atmosphere but will not be going back due to not receiving a quality drink and service being a little disappointing. Wish I would've stayed in Canal and spent my money elsewhere.

Rude service and terrible coffee. Won’t be coming back.

I live nearby and decided to stop by for a caramel pecan latte. I was very clear with my order when speaking to the woman at the counter (who seemed new, but was polite). Then another employee, a blonde woman with glasses, came over to make the drinks, and her attitude was immediately off-putting. No greeting, no acknowledgment, just started making the drinks like we were a problem.

She made my man’s drink and added way too much syrup. When the new employee politely said it was only supposed to have one pump, the blonde woman snapped, “Well you should’ve specified that.” Completely uncalled for. Then she made my drink and got rude again when I asked for the toppings I had already requested, saying I “should’ve specified” that too. Isn’t that the point of placing the order?

The coffee itself was terrible. No sweetness, no flavor, just burnt, watery coffee. Honestly one of the worst drinks I’ve had.

I stopped by this place today after work, and overall, it was a pretty cool experience. I’d give it a solid 3.5 out of 5.

I ordered a Strawberry Matcha latte with Strawberry Cold Foam, and while I was a little surprised by the brownish color (not what I expected visually), the flavor wasn’t bad at all. What really stood out to me though was the cold foam — it was really good and added a nice touch to the drink!

The interior is super nice and welcoming — definitely a cozy vibe for hanging out or studying. It’s modern, clean, and has a great aesthetic overall.

I’d definitely consider going back, but I think I’ll try something different next time — maybe step out of my usual go-to order and explore more of their menu.
