Roman's Pizza Pub — Restaurant in Madison Township

I lived and worked in Canal Winchester for quite sometime and this was a frequent stop for me. I even recommended her store to my own customers and had her fliers in my store. After my last experience though, I will never go there again. I was visiting my old town a few months ago on a hot summer day and stopped by Roman's Pizza intending to take my 2 year old daughter in to use the restroom. the lady behind the counter asks me how she can help me and I tell her I need to take my toddler to the bathroom and she informs me they don't have public bathrooms. I stared at her dumbfounded. I said... I have been here before... and think to myself ....does she not recognise me? I had to have stopped here at least 25 times and gotten food. then I say I know there is a bathroom. She tells me the restroom is for paying customers only. I was so shocked by this I was like well I usually eat here all the time... but I wont be anymore. And I will never eat their ever again. i had actually planned on stopping in for a couple subs and a small pizza later that day... but I decided to go to shade on the canal instead. much friendlier people over there. I hope that one little flush was worth losing a frequent customer. Not only that I will never recommend this place to anyone ever again. Infact ill let everyone know just how stuck up this place is. They wouldn't let a two year old use the potty....

We ordered an extra large mushroom, pepperoni and sausage pizza, Mac and cheese wedges, a Roman burger sub and the cheeseburger sub. The pizza was good and we had no complaints. It is just average pizza. The Mac and cheese wedges were good but seemed like there was no cheese in them. The Roman burger sub was very bland, not much to it. The sub that was supposed to be the cheeseburger sub was something completely different. We decided to just eat it anyway since we aren’t really picky eaters. We couldn’t even figure out what kind of sub it was. It had like a marinara sauce, some ground beef maybe, Mozzarella cheese, green peppers. The sub bun was complete mush on the ends and was just not great tasting. Overall, good, but just average pizza. Very disappointed in the subs, I get better tasting subs at subway. Considering all the great pizza/sub places around the area, I’d say we wouldn’t be ordering...

My boyfriend and I was excited to visit Romans pizza because of its reviews. The food and service was good. BUT we waited 45min before our food arrived to us at the bar. We almost left. That’s not all…. as we were paying our bill, there were 2 older gentleman that came in talking to the young man that was behind the bar. It was clear they were the owners or managers there. As were were leaving the bar I overheard one of them say to the young man” did they pay”? The young man said “yes” I stopped to take my last sip of my water in disbelief that he was talking about us. I looked around and there was NO one else in the restaurant it was about 930. I was about to say something but I didn’t . I just shook my head and kept walking.
