Barista was extremely unprofessional. A friend accidentally grabbed a wrong drink after ordering a cortado, after the drink had been called out multiple times, and was waiting on the counter. (The drink was not called with a name or specialty, just ā€œcortadoā€ which is what she also ordered) After our friend apologized to the customer and the barista, The barista then proceeded to call out loudly to the cafe about ā€œtaking the correct drink, and to pay attentionā€. While also acting very rude to our group after the fact and skipping our order for someone who ordered the same drink after us. We left feeling very embarrassed and that the situation although, understandably frustrating for the barista to have to remake a drink, was blown out of proportion. There were mistakes on both sides that could have been moved past easily. I really enjoy the east side location and visit often, but will probably not be returning to this location due to...

For the second straight year I visited this location of Cafe Domestique (another over by Willy St.) during a family visit. For the second straight year it was one of my favorite stops. Jacob wad behind the bar providing excellent service and the coffee options were curated excellence. We had an espresso, dirty chai latte, drip coffeez and a cascara tea. They were all excellently crafted, and because we were drinking them in-house in reusable mugs we qualified for several punches on our customer loyalty card. Bring your own mig for takeaway if you have one. The space is an indoor/outdoor collaboration with beer and bakery companies, and artfully designed. The exterior patio wraps around the building offer shade and sun on a relaxed residential corner. I will...

I ordered the ham croissant with a delicious cheese. They don’t have a menu for the food which really helps. Very friendly and nice staff. This place is an absolute hidden gem! I was looking for a Cafe near me that I had not been to and I wanted a different experience with delicious food. There is a wide variety of family, coworkers. Studying and foot traffic. The atmosphere is energetic but at the same time vary, peaceful and soothing. It was clean, and well kept. The music playlist that they play here I haven’t heard a very long time but I couldn’t help but bob my head to the beat.

Affordable food, very nostalgic feeling.

Highly recommend if your looking for good food decently price on the east side...

The best addition to the Ekken Neighborhood and one of the reasons this Eastside neighborhood is becoming one of the places to be! I've met a couple other business owners here for coffee in the morning and the service, coffee, and atmosphere are some of my favorites! It's never been too busy or too loud like other more "chain like" shops can get. I've loved the date and cardamom latte they've featured through the holidays and winter months. Highly recommend you stop here if you're in the neighborhood! Clean bathrooms too 😊
