Icki Sticki — Restaurant in Madison

We heard great things about this place and was quite disappointed. We ordered drinks, ice cream, and a sandwich.

The gal working today around 2:00 pm did not seem to know what she was doing at all. She was working by herself, moved slowly, and was very nonchalant while there was a long line of people waiting for their orders and waiting to place an order (both inside the building and the drive thru). She would start making 1 drink then move onto another drink before finishing the previous one. Then she tried taking more orders before she even finished the other ones. The wait time was so ridiculous, people were leaving.

I understand she was the only worker, but we really shouldn't have had to wait for almost 45 minutes to get 4 drinks (lattes & frappes). We never received the sandwich we ordered and when we asked for a refund (because we did not want to wait longer than we already had), she stated that she did not know how to do a refund and for us to pick something else from the menu that would be equivalent to the sandwich price... Our drinks did not taste like what we ordered either...

Overall it was a horrible experience and I highly suggest that you guys properly re-train this employee and she should not be allowed to run the place by herself...

We love Icki Sticki. Loyal patrons of the verona location. I am not sure I will ever go back to this location again. We went about 430 on a Saturday. There was 1 woman working. She clearly didn't know what she was doing. She had to reference recipe books and seemed unsure on what to grab. That's something you can learn, but she was INCAPABLE of multitasking. While a woman's espresso was dripping, she just stood there. Didn't ask the next lady what she wanted. While the blender was running for our shake, she just stood there. Didn't ask for the next item in our order, which was a scoop of ice cream. She asked the boba tea lady what size she wanted as she was making it, but she had already charged her for soemtbing. We were 3rd in line (a coffee and a Boba tea in front of us) and I think we waited 30 to 45 min for her to get to us. The guy in line behind us waited for 15 minutes, left to go get KFC next door, came back, and still had to wait at least 10 minutes for his 2 scoop dish, while she made a drink for a woman at the drive up. You can't teach multitasking based on how truly unnatural it was to her. I don't think my patience can risk getting her again. Ice cream and shake were good, as always. But we will stick with the...

My husband and I heard great reviews on the coffee here so we decided to give it a try but unfortunately we're very disappointed; the coffee tasted like a luke warm, milk filled syrup filled coffee that had little to no flavor. We put an honest review up on Facebook only to be harassed by the owner for saying that it simply wasn't for us, then after being harassed we were offered a gift card only for the owner to not follow through them the owner proceeds to claim that we threatened her and her family by leaving a negative review. In addition to these poor business practices we were not made aware that our coffee contained milk and were not able to ask for a milk alternative as many other coffee shops do, which is very disappointing as someone with dairy sensitivities. Overall, while the bakery item was delicious, the poor quality drinks, poor business practices and blaming of employees for someone not liking the drinks, coming here was a complete waste of time and money. I typically would be willing to give a business a second try but this coffee shop is not worth...
