9-22-25, buffet prices: (drinks are $2.00 additional to the below listed prices) * Lunch, Monday - Friday, 11:00am-3:30pm, adult $13.99, kids under 12 are $0.99/year * Dinner, Monday - Thursday, 3:30pm-8:30pm, $16.99, kids under 12 are $1.35/year * Dinner, Friday, 3:30pm - 9:00pm, $17.99, kids under 12 are $1.35/year *Saturday, 11:00am - 9:00pm, $17.99, kids under 12 are $1.35/year * Sunday, 11:00am - 8:30pm, $17.99, kids under 12 are $1.35/year * Senior Citizen discount is $0.50 for lunch and $1.00 for dinner ———————- As a Chinese buffet fan, while traveling for work i googled “Chinese Buffet near me,” and World Buffet popped up as 0.8 miles away, so I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to try a nearby Chinese food restaurant. I rate value based buffets on a different scale than fine dining restaurants. I gave World Buffet 5 stars based on the value of the food I got for the reasonable price. If I was using my fine dining scale, I’d probably give a 3.5 star. The good: * food was good and tasted like your typical Chinese buffet * a great selection * has a sushi buffet included * has a hibachi grill included * has a soup station where you pick your ingredients and a cook makes your soup (I’ve never seen that before, which was intriguing) * food was hot and seemed mostly fresh * my total bill for dinner on a Monday night was right about $20, and if I pieced together what I would have paid for all I ate as al a carte orders, that would have been $40+, so it’s a good deal * the sushi was being made fresh in real time and had a nice selection * the drink server/plate clearing lady was super nice * the place was very clean (note I did not visit the bathroom, so I’m not sure of the bathroom cleanliness) * the food was plentiful and nothing was out * the orange slices were amazing - I made that my dessert * parking is easy and the location is in a nice safe area that is well lit * the place was pretty quiet - no TVs on, or people talking on cell phones The not so good: * some of the food in the hibachi buffet (the raw ingredients that you put on a plate for the cook to then cook) was literally frozen * the person that brings you to your table really seemed like they didn’t want to be there * I wanted to ask some questions about how the “make your own soup” worked, but the cook was on their ear buds on a phone call so I didn’t ask and just skipped the soup station * I still don’t get why at buffets the receipt still recommends tipping at least 15%, when the staff doesn’t actually serve you (for the record, I did tip 15% - I tip more at restaurants where the servers take your order and serve you) * the ginger (I think it is) at the sushi bar was in a metal container (per usual), however the ginger was submerged in water making the ginger soggy (I wasn’t sure what the purpose of the water was) My “not so good list” is relatively pretty minor. All in all, I’d return when in town next. You just can’t beat all this food with a drink for $20 for dinner!

I had a bad experience here. They had a wide selection of food and I was initially excited tontry this restaurant. We were seated in a back booth. Mybpartner and I each brought a full plate of varying dishes to our table. Almost immediately after I began eating, I felt feeling ill. The hot food wasn't hot, and the cold food like sushi was room temperature. Then I started looking around and really began to notice the lack of cleanliness. I tried to capture that in the photos- some sticky dripping on the back of the seat, dirt, food splatter and hanprints all over the wall, and a sticky table. When I informed the manager of the situation he asked if that was my first plate. 💁‍♀️(it was, and I had barely touched it). My partner ate and felt fine, so it could have been a particular dish, or my nausea could have been unrelated from the food. But the lack of concern from management and the filthy conditions of the dining area are a red flag. We will not be returning.

The food was so dry it was sticking to the pans in the actual Buffet . The lemonade was lacking to say the least. The food had no flavor at all in the picture you can see the sushi just fell apart wasn’t even labeled so I hope nobody has serious food allergies planning to visit anytime soon. The noodles had no flavor. The crab Rangoon was refried and no filling at all. The sugar donuts lacked SUGAR. I said no to the lemonade and she brought the bill. Only one napkin provided no napkins on table. Soy sauce too salty. The potstickers were cold and the dipping sauce had absolutely no spice. Definitely won’t be returning here after this last experience. I’d give this place a 0 if possible!

I had never been there before, but a friend of mine took me to Costco and afterwards I wanted to get some lunch or dinner it was about 5 pm so I googled Chinese food near me .Three choices came up I chose the one that looked and sounded good it was the one in the middle of 3 choices. I'm so glad the HOLY SPIRIT had me choose correctly .We pulled up to the place it was busy which is a good sign ,but still plenty of parking .We walk in well lit bright and clean and beautiful ,the hostess was friendly seated in a wonderful area up the stairs nice booth with a nice window view asked us what we'd like to drink and we then proceeded to the buffet area. Wow at least 4 buffets one after another then to our left another buffet with hand carved roast beef and yet at least 3 more buffets around the perimeter and behind all these buffets there was a couple of cooks on hand where you could pick out your own raw meats and vegetables and sauces too to have them cook for you in addition to all the buffets with different meats and sea foods and choices too many to list Along with that you had two other long buffets with deserts some at each end and a buffet with fruits puddings as well so many choices, you couldn't believe it . Everything looked fresh not old fresh fantastic and full ,they had an area where you could get sauces too. I couldn't even begin to try it all so much so wonderful and beautiful. The food was fantastic everything I had was great and I had the cook ,cook me some stuff I picked out too some steak and chicken shaved with peppers n onions and garlic and sauces and shallots just phenomenal. My friend and I enjoyed our meal and when the bill came I was pleasantly surprised I didn't have to pay extra for the chefs cooking me the stuff I picked out in addition to all the buffets. Very well priced affordable too when I went to pay there was a separate cashier separate away from the buffets and he was friendly and thanked me for my business. I paid the bill and my buddy Left a hefty tip even though some don't we were more then happy to .The whole experience was phenomenal,I found a new place to go for lunch or dinner that was not like any of the other buffets I had ever been in just incredibly wonderful. It truly is a World Buffet with so many choices. I look forward to going back...

Lunch is subpar compared to dinner, but the main reason why I rate this place so low is the cleanliness of the establishment. Mainly after a guy was lifting up tables to clean with a solution I don't know if its fresh or diluted, handling plates that have been in contact with other people, and handling a broom, he refilled my cup...all without swapping out gloves. I'd be more accepting of it if he routinely switched gloves out but there was zero attempt. I thought I'd feel better having my drink refilled by a lady who I only saw handle food prep with green beans but that sure proved me wrong when she was doing the same thing and did not wash her hands.

I don't have to tell how disgusting that is. We've also been two years in the pandemic, if it isn't second nature to practice safety for the customer, then its just a lost cause at this point.

Will definitely not come back and recommend people to avoid. Poor performance overall.

Edit: Saturday, February 26th, 2022 @2:45PM.

Literally no more than two hours after posting this do I get the worst way possible treatment for a customer. Getting them out the door. Still eating but half hour in I'm already given the check. Went to go use the bathroom to wash my hands and return a message and instead of just allowing a patron some privacy, the same male staff was basically insinuating I was dining and dashing when I sure as hell had no intention to. 10 bucks for a buffet is nothing but apparently they got a little area catching dine and dashers. Dude basically escorted me out of the bathroom like I was a kid and waiting to pay but lady I'm assuming manager is paying out two other people while asking for my card. I wanted to wait cuz I've had a scenario where my card was given to the wrong person. Did not ask me how my experience was compared to other patrons and just rushed for my signature. Tried telling the lady to slow down cuz there weren't any other patrons behind me waiting to pay out. Still rushing for my signature. This point I'm actually getting upset because they seem to show no care whatsoever.

For your sake?...
