They were very rude to me when I was on the phone with them. I had my food delivered to the UW hospital in Madison, I had my mom who is out of state order me food because I've been in and out of the hospital with re occurring pancreatitis and finally able to eat in weeks, I wanted JJ . They called me to let me know he the delivery guy was there, I told him I had to wait for my nurse, who I let know ahead of time I was ordering. And that I needed to be walked down. Not even 5 min later he calls again and was being rude, his tone of voice , said it all. Horrible customer service. Once I got to my room, I called back to complain and the " shift manager" didn't take my complaint serious, no apology. All he said was " okay thanks" so mind you I wasn't able to eat right away because I needed to get an MRI done on my stomach. So after hours of not eating because of that , I find a hair, looks like a pubic hair purposely placed at the bottom of my snadwhich . I called back, once again no apology, the same guy who delivered the first sand which delivered the 2nd one. and still no apology. That sandwhich tastes HORRIBLE!!! I'll never order from there again, called corporate! Something will be done about this ! Those workers need to be fired for poor customer service, lack of respect, common sense, no compassion. That whole experience was just ridiculous and...
Read moreHorrible experience and will not order from this location ever again! Firstly, I don’t know who trained these employees but they were awful. Two full grown men (late 20’s early 30’s) with zero customer service or general people skills. I ordered two sandwiches at 11am online for pick up. I drove from East Side of Madison to DT to bring my husband lunch. I walked in and the place was a disaster. Trash and boxes everywhere. I look at the pick up shelf and no order. So I patiently wait for 3 men to order ahead of me. When the first order was complete, I kid you not…this grown man working the counter, held up the sub and waived it saying, “ If you’re hungry here’s your sandwich” and slams it in the counter. The guy was just filling his drink 3 feet away. Then, when it’s my turn this guys doesn’t say hello. Doesn’t ask what my order is…nothing. I say, “ I have a pick up order” and he hands me the ready bag behind the counter. I told him his customer service is awful and he laughed. Mind you I’m also holding my 6 month old baby during this whole bizarre experience and waited 15 minutes for my already ready food. Such a joke. This why these losers make sandwiches. Get a real job. WORST...
Read moreLets face...as far as sandwiches' go JJ is far from gourmet. It is what it is if you want something that's not fried, wrapped in a tortilla or a slice. Fine and dandy. Whats got my panties in a bunch is when you go into an establishment that serves food, being clean and respectful of cliental should job one. The gloves you wear working at such a place should be changed everytime you go from food prep to handling money (one of the filthiest items we all handle everyday) and sweeping of floor. I refused my sandwich when the person behind the counter went from picking up debris from floor to pressing the screen on the register and when he had pressed a wrong key another employee who was prepping food touched the same screen WITH GLOVED HANDS that the floor sweeper had touched! Hey all if you don't mind eating something that was made with gloved hands from someone who put those gloves on at maybe beginning of shift and wore those same gloves while cleaning a floor or other chores required (toilets, garbage disposal etc.) By all means enjoy. Better yet would be to say "Hey don't you need to change them when you change tasks?'' or refuse your order and walk out. You...
