Our family experienced one of the worst customer service experiences at this location. We ordered catering to-go for a family event of eleven people, spending over $110 dollars. Someone other than the person ordering was nice enough to pick the order up on their way to our event. She asked the manager if they are sure they included everything and was told yes. After she arrived, we realized they forgot half of our order. It is a 35 minute roundtrip drive for us so I offered to pick it up if they would have it ready when I got there. We called them before I left and were told it was ready to be picked up. When I got there, the manager confronted me, saying that we only ordered one platter ($39.95) and that is all we ordered. I asked him if our food was ready, he said no because I don't believe you. He tried twice to grab my phone from me to look at my emails, being too lazy to look the order up himself. The manager then disappeared into the back for about eight minutes while the employees stood their talking about training material. Never once were they apologetic or did try to start making the order. They had a demeaning attitude and disregarded me as a customer. I couldn't help myself, so I said, "hey guys, how about instead of standing there while my family goes hungry you start making my order??" There reply was that they still were trying to make sure I actually ordered the second platter. I literally showed them the email confirmation of the order three times and they had almost 20 minutes between our call and my arrival to look up the order.... After this they started the order, thanks to the cooks initiative. Once they got it ready, I decided to check the order. They forgot half of the half they forgot. They missed a tub of chicken, sour cream, and tortillas. The manager was rude and offered no apology through the entire experience, which ended up costing me over an hour of my family dinner. The order was supposed to be ready at 6:15pm, but I did not get back with the rest of the food until around 8pm.. The cook, who I'm guessing is new, was very nice and apologized for ruining my family dinner. I asked another employee who the store's General Manager was and he pointed to the manager who hid in the back while his employees talked. I was/am completely blown away by the entire experience and wish him the best of luck in the success of...
Read moreI visited this Qdoba location this evening for a quick meal with a friend and was reminded why I don't go here. I had the Poblano Pesto burrito with chicken. The chicken tasted weird, like it had been freeze-thawed several times. The rice was cold, so it felt like everything in the burrito was at different temperatures. This burrito was a "signature" emenu item, but was just incredibly blah.
The most annoying part was the exorbitant price of the drinks. The prices of the drinks are not posted on the overhead menu, so I stupidly assumed they would be roughly in line with other fast food restaurants. $2.19 for a Nantucket Nectar juice and $2.59 for a Sprecher's root beer? The total was almost $20 for 1 burrito, 1 plate of nachos, and 2 soft drinks.
Chipotle is much better for Mexican fast food. The components are noticeably better-tasting, it's only slightly more expensive than Qdoba (similar menu items within a dollar of each other), they make HUGE burritos, and they don't gouge you on soft drinks. For me, a Chipotle burrito is a...
Read moreOrdered delivery today. The food came just fine and on time....the issue is that inside our marked bag was also someone else's pick up order. I called the restaurant to let them know and they said "Thanks for telling us." Upon asking what to do with the other person's order and if they needed the order information or for it to be brought back there was silence. I stated my name and the name on the receipt for the other order and asked again if I could do anything and the response was hang up on me. There was background noise so I know the call was still going until that point.
I'm sure they, like most stores, are very short staffed. I get it. I wanted to try to help. This reaction seemed rude and I hope they were more sympathetic to the customer who didn't get their order Erin wherever you are I'm sorry your order...
