This places ingredients are so misleading and the portions of the açaĂ/pitaya bowl ingredients are so unbalanced.
Not the fault of the workers, they are just following whatever they were taught. Whomever is responsible for product sourcing needs to do better. All the ingredients are loaded in sweeteners.
I feel bad for people coming here to choose a healthy alternative for a meal, because itâs loaded in sugars!!! My smoothie was undrinkable. I asked all the questions about sweeteners and such, and it was supposed to be fruit and unsweetened non-fat yogurt. Something had a massive amount of some kind of sweetener in it, not sure what since it should have been coconut, pineapple banana and nonfat yogurt, with added mango. I took one sip and couldnât drink it. I threw it out. It was literally disgusting and tasted overly sweet and nothing like a mango piña colada. The açaĂ bowl also had sweetener added through the vanilla whey powder (stevia and some other additives) the amount of peanut butter was insane. It seemed like half a container of it in the bowl and the ânaturalâ peanut butter tasted like it was 100% sugar. The amount of granola was also way too much, taking up a most of the bowl.
The fruit on top was fresh, but that was the only highlight. And the service was very good. The girl who took care of us was great, but the ingredients need a...
Read moreI am not one to ever write reviews. To me, I personally choose to not go back to a business rather than bashing them online but today I went to jungle juice with my fiancé as we were craving smoothies. I have never encountered nastier girls behind a counter at an establishment in my life. Considering we were the only two in the entire place I was surprised to see 3 girls behind the counter with an additional 2 coming back and forth from the back. 2 out of the 3 girls stood in the corner staring us down commenting back and forth to each other on who knows what. The entire situation felt very uncomfortable. I decided to opt out getting a smoothie due to the immense discomfort. I will never be back or support a business that over hires and has girls standing around with nothing better to do then blatantly judge their customers and eye them down. (Ironically I am not the first person stating this in the...
Read moreI love the juices and bowls from this business. However, the employee at the register smiled at every customer and asked if they had a punch card. When it was my turn to order I wasnât exactly greeted the same and not offered a punch card. I noticed that she continued to ask each customer after I stepped off the line. I later approached her and asked about the punch card before I made a comment about her not giving me the option. From a general question, she responded very defensively, with an attitude and then rolled her eyes. I really like the place but I dislike the...
