We were there 10/14/23

I wish we lived closer, the food was delicious!

Sweet Chili Red Snapper was delicious. It was pieces of fish (glad it wasn’t a whole fish) that were crispy on the outside and tender inside. The sauce was sweet and spicy delightful combination. I love whole fishes but hate eating them in a restaurant, so much work LOL

Volcano Pork Shank (Osso Bucco Style) was a chef special and the pork was tender falling off the bone and spicy! Be careful if you can’t handle the heat, ask them to make it mild lol

Thai Iced Tea and Lychee Iced Tea, I’m so happy they offer the Lychee version as it does not use milk (dairy and me are not friends…) but still used the same tea as the Thai Iced Tea, YUM!

I ordered a Shrimp Pad See Ew to take home and it was delicious. Pad See Ew is my go to at Thai restaurants, which makes it easy to compare. Even though I ate it the next day, the noodle was not soggy. It was not too sweet nor salty. My only comment is that there was only 4 jumbo shrimp, I would have prefer a bunch of small shrimps so I would be able to get a shrimp in every bite vs eating the shrimp separately from the noodles lol

Service was excellent!

If we’re in the area will definitely...

I took my kids for dinner. Biggest mistake ever! They sat us where everyone was picking up their phone order. It didn’t even feel like a restaurant. The owner and I guess his wife do all the services here. So no added servers, just them. They cannot handle the orders that come through. Such a mess of a restaurant structure. Please go elsewhere. Google Thai restaurant and you will find far better ones. To add to my experience the wife aka server demanded that I give her a 15% tip. I said no and she was in my face with her unprofessional and shameful demeanor. I couldn’t believe she would do that to her customer. No idea how they have remained open. Her husband aka chef proceeds to tell me they do not get paid or the salary is the tips. Honestly tacky as hell!! Was so beyond embarrassing. You own the place and you make money off your dishes and you are discussing your salary issues with me. Again was so unprofessional and they concluded it was NJ Law to pay 15%. False, hence the picture I attached. No restaurant can ever force you to tip them a certain percentage. Food by the way a total waste. More sauce than actual food in their Thai curry. I just want to erase this awful dining experience...

Food is tasty. Can be pricey if not ordering from lunch special menu.

Was one of our go to take out up until pandemic. Once a week or two weeks. Typically friendly staff.

One day when I ordered take out for pick up, the lady rudely asked if I wanted to leave a tip and when I said no thank you, she confronted me and rattled off list of things I should leave tips for such as packaging the food for take out. I understand during the pandemic it was tough times for everyone and she had no idea what my situation was either. I signed my credit card slip and left. I came home to unpackage the take out and everything was leaking and a hot mess. So glad I didn’t leave extra tips for that!

I’ve never been back since.

Legitimately good food. If you don’t mind someone rudely making judgments for not leaving tips for take out OR tipping for poor take out packaging, then I’d say...

This is THE place for drunken noodles - it’s our go to in NJ. Great lunch menu & prices. They have a brown rice option - no extra charge. Love the mango salad & Thai basil (chicken, shrimp & tofu options) my favorites! Great appetizers like satay chicken & spring rolls. Also like the pad Thai & pad see ew. Always fresh and very tasty. Desserts I’ve tried are the mango sticky rice & the carrot cake. Both are delicious. (Photos from various visits)
