EDIT: i’m very impressed by how this store listens to feedback. every single point I’ve listed on this review has changed. Here’s what I’ve noticed!
They’ve introduced a Buy One Get One Free happy hour for people to save money, and I would say it’s at the most convenient hour. I don’t think they are currently doing this promotion but it went on for months! They also have a student discount, cash back service connected to your phone number, and they have new stamp cards to get 1 free drink for every 10 drinks bought!
Every time I come here, there’s a tray of samples! Listening to feedback is clearly a strong suit with this store and I have a lot of appreciation for the management & employees here. The samples are different every time I come here which is very nice.
They’ve opened up their hours more, some days until 7 pm. This has made it a lot easier to come here and I really appreciate their flexibility!
They haven’t been out of stock with brown sugar boba in a very long time, so they definitely changed their inventory and restock. I appreciate this a lot as I know it may deter from their profit, but it definitely makes them more money to have this ingredient available !
ORIGINAL REVIEW: I love this place. They have the best boba I have ever tried, their customer service is very kind, and the location itself is very cute. I genuinely do recommend coming here if you love boba or if you want to try. It’s the only boba place that I like!
I’m addicted to their boba, but there are a few things that would make this place better to come to:
Prices are honestly high, i know boba is usually expensive, but i end up paying $7 for a normal 22 ounce milk boba. A 3.5% surcharge & having to pay for boba at all is a lot as well especially when the item’s already expensive. But they recently added a cash back system which I appreciate!
Menu is so so big which can be great, but it’s so overwhelming. I wish there were at least descriptions online, or samples!
Hours & Availability are limited. It’s hard to get there by 6 before it closes when most people get off work at 5 if they have a normal job.
Lastly, at least 40% of the time I go, they are out of boba. For a tea place, I feel like it’s supposed to be a staple of the store. I work at a restaurant so I get that it’s hard to predict when things may be out of stock, but for the amount of times I have driven here and left empty handed, as well as it being the main selling point, I feel as though it should...
Read moreThey were out of almost every type of drink that I ordered. They only had two flavors of crêpes available. You couldn’t order anything that was offered on the menu. We were in the middle of placing an order when the person helping us decided to take somebody else first that came in after us, stopped us from speaking to attend to somebody else. There were three people working, one of them standing around, doing nothing. I ordered one item that was already ready in the box but They let me wait 15 minutes before giving it to me because they needed to follow the order of the tickets that they had, which is ridiculous when you’re the only person in the store . You should help the guests that are in front of you ahead of online orders for people that aren’t there. Simply having a manager in the store to train and direct, their staff would solve the problem, but a disappointing experience overall I would not return, unless all the crêpes in a crêperie were...
Read moreI found a relatively large piece of something in my drink that felt and looked like a piece of a hairnet or piece of some fibrous cleaning tool. I don’t want things like this in my drink, it’s gross. I mentioned it to the staff and showed them the object, trying to be as polite as possible. However, I didn't receive an apology or any concern about the foreign object in my drink. Since the drink was sealed, it's impossible for something to have fallen in after it was prepared. I wasn't seeking a refund or a new drink, but the lack of at least an apology or investigation is very concerning, it’s the least that could’ve been done.
As for the drink itself, it was okay. It wasn't the worst bubble tea I've had, but it was definitely below average in terms of overall flavor and balance. Tapioca quality and consistency...
