Panda Express — Restaurant in Madison

Husband and I both got pretty sick after eating dinner from here tonight, was feeling perfectly fine beforehand and we both got sick around the same time after eating. I did notice the food was much more dry than other locations but it was still decent taste wise. The problem was when I called, simply just to let them know, and the manager I believe, let know that the food couldn't possibly make you sick right after eating it and also that she had eaten it herself today before hanging up. (You definitely can get sick immediately after consuming food, especially shrimp or chicken) Very rude of her in my opinion, I wasn't trying to be rude or look for anything other than letting her know in case the food had made any other customers sick tonight, but she didn't seem to care, when I was really polite about it. Was just looking out for others and it seemed kinda unprofessional the way she handled the call. ( your supposed to report to a restaurant if you get sick from their food, so it should have been taken a little more seriously and not ignored, at least noted somewhere, but I'm sure someone else will call too because we are still...

I haven't eaten Panda express in a while, but we were in a rush so I decided to give it another shot. No line, quick service, so I thought I made out well.

Then, I felt the immediate regret upon opening the box. The chow mein was 3/4 vegetables with noodles sparsely sprinkled between onions, cabbage, and celery chunks. Not to mention some of the cabbage was hard and borderline inedible.

idk how you could even think to serve this if you were a worker there. I would've gotten fried rice if I knew the chow mein was going to be utter garbage, but I had no way of knowing. Maybe the workers/owner were trying not to waste, and they did a good job of it, because I'm not going to waste any more of my money at a Panda Express in the future.

88 buffet takeout already made Panda irrelevant in Huntsville by charging less for the same size tray (in $/lb) and having more variety. And if the food is cooked horribly, you can at least see before dishing it up. Not that 88 buffet is the best option, but it will always be better than Panda...

I went to this location today for the first time. You could definitely tell the staff was having a hard day, but luckily y'all have Edward. Edward was working the drive-thru and even though the ice machine wasn't working, it would 5 minutes on our orange chicken and y'all no longer serve mellow yellow, he probably saved a lot of customers for you today. Sometimes people don't realize the quality of who they have working for them so you should know, and everybody else should too. If y'all had a store full of Edwards, you wouldn't need anybody else. He deserves a paid day off and a raise or even a promotion. As regional manager myself, I'll be coming back to offer him a job and I'm willing to pay him the highest rate that I could possibly afford. You should know today and every day the quality of this young man you have working for you and I truly hope that you show him the proper appreciation he deserves EVERY SINGLE DAY.
