Looking to feed the seven of us dinner in Madison without breaking the bank, we turned to The Red Pepperoni for pizza & pasta. 🍕🍝

Part of the “Red” family of businesses in Madison, The Red Pepperoni is a laid back pizza parlor on the west end of Main Street. They have both indoor and outdoor seating and feature a menu of appetizers, salads, pasta, grinders, and specialty pizzas with names like “Spud McKenzie” and “Mac Daddy”.

It wasn’t our first time there so we knew it would be a good time. We ordered:

🥖 Breadsticks x 2 🟫 Toasted Ravioli 🍝 Chicken Parmesan x 2 🍕 Spud McKenzie 🍕 Sicilian 🍕 BBQ Chicken

The breadsticks were somewhat reminiscent of the old Noble Romans sticks. The Spud McKenzie was a crowd favorite with its french fry topping. The BBQ Chicken had a sweet bbq base and crunchy green peppers. I liked the layer of giardiniera on the Sicilian.

Their Sunday special was $16 large specialty pizzas. Our total was $104 + tip and we took home three boxes of pizza. Comparing our fantastic dinner to our lunch at an overpriced restaurant nearby made me even more frustrated with that situation. 😣

Thank you, The Red Pepperoni, for serving great pizza in a fun atmosphere that is still affordable for large families. 👍🏻

Check them out the next time you’re...

In full disclosure, we didn't actually get to eat at The Red Pepperoni. We, a party of 4, arrived at The Red Pepperoni at roughly 5PM. We're from New Albany, so perhaps we stood out a little? Either way, service was prompt, at first. We got menus, plates, silverware, and drinks within a reasonable time.

A different server came over to take our order. We were keen on their $12 any three topping large Pizza deal, as seeing how it was a Sunday night, and some cheesey bread, because, you know, we're good mid-western American's and what else do you have as an appetizer before stuffing down two large pizza's covered in meat and cheese?

Anyway, we're quite keen on these pizzas, however, 6 o'clock rolls around and we notice we're really hungry. We can see other patrons who came in and order after us, receive their pizza pies before us; three groups in fact. We spied the waitress who took our order, and she spied us too, and she sent another, younger waitress over to double check on our order.

LO AND BEHOLD! They didn't put in our order... we're still hungry.

Other than that, I'm sure this is a delicious eatery to scarf down some protein laden carbs, we just never...

Such a magnificent dining experience! Our 1st experience here dining in, at the Red Pepperoni in Madison. I had eaten carryout pizza from there before, while good, it did not come close to the deliciousness during this dining experience! We asked for direction from our Server & she suggested their specialties: pizza, calzones &/or spinach artichoke dip. Stupendous service with fresh, delicious food, prompt & professional (appropriately distant with all servers wearing facial coverings). We opted for the appetizer of spinach artichoke dip - delicious! Every bite was scrumptious! From the bread to the last dip! Mom ordered a meatball sub - tender, tasty, & divine! My son opted for a calzone & so did I; however neither of us was aware of the generous portions. We could have been satiated with splitting one, but this way we have tomorrows dinner too! Each bite better than the one previous! Just a shame we couldn't eat more, then we could have had more of a smorgasbord! We will definitely return & next time we will know to order one of each & simply enjoy tasting more menu items than ever. Will return! Highly...

I just got the worst service, rude waitress, no plates or silverware until 10 minutes after food was served. Then I told the waitress hey no service means no tip. She gave a very rude attitude. This was at The Red Pepperoni in Madison ind. I emailed them thru Facebook. Response sorry this happened. It wasn't that busy either I notice other bad reviews on google reviews as well and each response from them seem Scripted.... The best apology is Changed Behavior.... It doesn't seem to be changing much.... Just totally Utterly Disgusted with how I was treated. I think it was deliberate.
