Little Golden Fox — Attraction in Madison

On an outing with some of our residents we had the "Little Golden Fox" experience. We had such a wonderful day. From the beginning, I had called to set up a scheduled time for us to come a few weeks prior. Cara was so, willing to accommodate us. They are normally closed on Tuesday but, she wanted to come in and open up just for us. That way she could b sure to help us. Also, so we would have a little easier accessible to look at things and move etc. This was so very nice of her!! It was wonderful!!! She was always right there to help. She is so great a wonderful gal. My residents just loved it!! They love arts and crafts. It just made their day and I cannot begin to tell ya how wonderful this day was. Madison, IN is an historic town with some very old, very cool buildings. One of those buildings, a former International Harvester dealership, is the home of Little Golden Fox, a workshop and art experience studio.

Cara, the owner and creative director, was kind enough to give us a tour of the space.

The main room is huge, with tables in the middle surrounded by a variety of artistic disciplines to try— like painting, ceramics, and quilting. You can enjoy them as a group, as an individual, or in a structured class.

Cara also hosts known traveling artists from around the country for special classes and exhibitions. Follow her Facebook page as she’s always posting opportunities to come in and create something special.

I think it will be the perfect place to celebrate my daughter’s upcoming birthday, where she and her friends can paint ceramic Christmas ornaments.

WOW!!! I would give 11/10 stars if I could. My absolute favorite shop downtown, you MUST go here if you are creative or looking for some beautiful gifts and decor. Just stunning!!! The owner (who is super sweet by the way) has milk paints, local handmade goods, and even a painting studio with classes on how to paint everything from furniture to canvases (with a POTTERY KILN too!!) She even has events there for local crafters. Love LOVE LOOOOVE this store... please never ever...
