It was neat to learn that the fountain is a replica that was part of the Philadelphia Centennial Exposition of 1876, and other replicas can be seen in Poughkeepsie, NY; Cusco, Peru; and Forsyth Park in Savannah, Georgia. It was not flowing when we visited due to the time of year of our visit. Maybe the next time we are in the area.

The Broadway Fountain is located on a small square/plaza. Very nice Fountain in a scenic little spot just off of Main Street. The Fountain has an interesting history that you can read about on a placard along with other local history. We found free street parking here. Nice spot for a break and a few pictures as you stroll down Main Street. Very scenic.

Madison is a wonderful place in southeast Indiana situate on the Ohio River. Featuring manyfine and unique shops and restaurants. Also check out the beautiful riverfront park featuring river barge dining and Thunder on the River power boat excursions.

I was born and rasied in madison indiana.its a beauitful place to enjoy all kinds of activites...im so glad madison became historic.from my past..and still today..I dont live there .but I do come home to see it all again. Those who live in madison. Or surronding area go on with there lives no matter what goes on..thank you madison youre...
