I stopped by this location Friday night with someone else whilst visiting the area, and now a second time today. I’m very forgiving and understanding when it comes to working in the food and customer service industry, and most Starbucks stores I go to are great. However, I was disappointed with my visit at this location. We went through the drive through on Friday night and out encounter with the staff was okay at best.. not very friendly or connecting, the service was slow, but everything tasted great! We ordered our usual drinks and they were delicious. :) We came in again this afternoon, and ordered from inside the café. The atmosphere wasn’t the best… When we walked into the store, we were not greeted or acknowledged by the baristas, and it really left like nobody wanted to be there. Overall, not very friendly :( Drinks weren’t being called out, so nobody really knew when their drinks were ready unless they were looking at the handoff station. It took a while to get our food even though it wasn’t busy, and one of the drinks I ordered didn’t taste right (the same I drink ordered on Friday).I asked the baristas if they would be willing to remake it, and they kindly did. Unfortunately, it still didn’t taste right, or good. But, I didn’t want to be a bother and ask if they would remake it again, so we left. I’m not one to leave reviews, in fact this is the first time I’ve ever written one. But after the experience I had today, I felt like I needed to. I know we all have our days, but it felt like we were a bother by...
Read moreThe parking spots are too small! What were they thinking!? At 5:30PM there are only two seats where you are not being melted by the sun. Those seats were taken. More of a boardroom feel than a coffee shop feel. Great service for overpriced everything. But, why did we put another Starbucks in town at such an awkward location? What happened to supporting local establishments? We have a great local Midtown Coffee Shop. We have great drive thru coffee brewers, i.e. The Human Bean, and another Starbucks inside Safeway. There are a number of other local choices including restaurants. There is oddly a lot of space behind the counter of this Starbucks, as if a huge amount of drive-thru and in person business is expected simultaneously. That seems unsustainable. If they do get a lot of drive-thru customers lined up, it will be more of a traffic nightmare than it already is. Also, if you are approaching from the North, you need to turn in on, I think it's Prince's Street(?) before you see Starbucks, or you have to drive past it and make a left turn somewhere across 97, and drive back to the North and make the left turn to park. Poor planning all the way around....
