Mariscos La Isla Dorada — Restaurant in Maine Township

I really believe in reviews and comments. We get there 8:15 PM on Wednesday July the 9th. The server ask us to order as soon as possible because they almost close ( we were just 2 people!!! And they couldn’t handle !!) We order appetizer and main course . We knew they close at 9:00 pm but we didn’t expect by 9:05 they removed most of the items from the table without asking : the salsa, chips and even the plate do disposal the left overs as fish’ bones . The server never ask about something else to drink. They close at 9:00 and they really want to leave by 9:15. We not even sing the check and the waitress place the WHOLE FULL garbage can just beside me. I told her to remove the garbage because it was so disgusting and I just eat and she said:” we are closing !!!” My advise is: If you going out to enjoy meals, expend your money and tip a server ( because they earned for good service) , there are MANY other places whom appreciate to get business .Im sorry for the owner because I know is hard to build a business and they don’t realize how many customers don’t come...

Greeted, seated asked for drinks 2 cantaritos, not what expected at all the only thing we could taste was pineapple juice which to whom knows cantaritos has never had pineapple juice in the recipe anyways decided to let it slide. Order empanadas, tasteless as they can be. Ordered main dishes my husband’s plate arrived, ten minutes later they realized my plate was not even started. We were never asked if we wanted or needed something else. More drinks maybe? Went here with a party of 8 and at that time it was semi busy. Mind you they did have a sign on the window asking for cook(s)/waiting staff. Apparently only one person took the orders but two others where there too. From what i was able to see they had 2 cooks. They have a bar so they do serve alcohol, I had a tequila sunrise which was good my my partner had too ask for an additional shot in her margarita. I ordered shrimp and cheese empanadas which I thought were delicious and filete empanizado. When it came to paying the waitress kept messing up the orders but finally got MY order right the 2nd time, my coworkers weren't as lucky.
