Rude customer service. We came here many times and they were always rude, but we still came back anyways because we liked the DJ on The Weeknd’s, But after today, I will never come back with my family again to this location. Table of seven, we all enjoyed our meal, but we had to give one plate of chicken tenders back because we didn’t like the way it tasted. The chicken tenders were very plain, my son only took one bite of one chicken tender, and we gave it back to the waitress. They still charged it to the bill, they did not offer us anything else so we thought they would just take it off the bill. We could’ve at least taken it home and give it to someone else instead of throwing away the plate and charging us for it anyways.
The waitress said that if she takes it off, then she has to personally pay for the meal for herself and that it is coming out of her paycheck. So we got the female manager involved and she said they cannot take it off because there was no issue with it, but we said that we did not like it. They used to complete from us and didn’t offer us anything else. And didn’t think it off the bill.
Every restaurant I’ve been to in my life if you don’t like something, they take it away and take it off the bill or offer you something else We had to bargain with the manager to at least give us a dessert.
I see why nobody comes here anymore for a Saturday night. This place was empty.
If someone does want to come here, please double check your receipts after you guys order because the...
Read moreWe decided to try this Balkan restaurant. There is a big parking lot in the back and you enter into the restaurant on the far left side. Each room is different from the next, it makes it more unique. The employees were very pleasant and checked on us often. We ordered beef tongue, cheese bites mix, seafood mix, Balkan style meats, lamb chops, skirt steak, garash cake, creme brûlée. Portion sizes are large and great for sharing with friends or family. We did family style and shared everything. Prices were fair. Overall 4.5.
-beef tongue 5 - kind of expensive but worth it. One of the best appetizers to get. Tons of flavor and very little chewing. -cheese bites mix 5 -feta and mozzarella cheese. The mozzarella sticks look different from your average American version. The cheese pull is not as stretchy but it’s still well made. -seafood mix 5 - very fresh seafood. Perfect if you want to try a variety. The seafood is tender and moist. -Balkan style meats 4 - I love Balkan meats but the pork chop was painfully dry. The other meats were moist and robust. -lamb chops 5 - lamb chops cooked beautifully medium. Use the sauce provided. The rice was also very good. -skirt steak 5 - very tasty meat. It wasn’t dry, cooked medium. Risotto was delicious. -garash cake 5 - The cake was light, not super rich. It’s very good. -creme brûlée 5 - very creamy version of the creme brûlée. I never had one this...
Read moreThey don’t know anything about the costumer service! Stay away if you are not a Bulgarian. We went there around 5 pm without reservations and asked if we could sit on the patio. The answer was yes so we went there and took a sit. Waitress kept passing by us as if we didn’t exist, eventually my husband went to her and asked if she’d take orders. She said okay and went inside and came back 10 minutes later and asked us to leave because they couldn’t serve the patio anymore due to chances of rain!!! I mean seriously??? First of all we first checked with the hosts and they said we could sit at the patio. Also we sat there waiting for someone to care enough to take orders for almost half an hour- all while they were serving two other tables on the patio who apparently spoke their language the entire time and were checking on them every 10 minutes! And finally, it didn’t rain until about 1-1.5 hours later! So, rain was just a lame excuse
Here’s our takeaway: SPEAK BULGARIAN...
