End of 2024 Review: Nancy’s Pizza in Niles
As 2024 comes to a close, I wanted to reflect on one of our favorite local spots: Nancy’s Pizza in Niles. For me, pizza is more than food—it’s tied to memories. During my high school, Navy, and college years, I worked at a small pizza place called Little Rosa’s in Hanover Park. It wasn’t just a job; it was where I learned the rhythm and chaos of the kitchen, the dance of assembling pizzas, and the pride that comes with delivering something people love. Walking into Nancy’s takes me back to those days.
Nancy’s might be a franchise—you’ll find locations across Chicagoland and even in places like Georgia (Chicago-style pizza in the Deep South!)—but the Niles location is special. It’s family-run, owned by Fred and his family, who pour their energy into every pizza that comes out of their kitchen. Their dedication shines through, whether you’re dining in or taking home a box.
Niles is spoiled for choice when it comes to pizza. The “big three”—Giordano’s, Lou Malnati’s, and Nancy’s—all have their own loyal followings. Their crusts, sauces, and styles are distinct, which makes exploring them fun. And then there are the smaller, privately owned joints, reminiscent of Little Rosa’s, which hold their own charm. But for us, Nancy’s stands out.
What keeps us coming back to Nancy’s is their consistency. Their crust and sauce remind me of the flavors I grew up with—balanced, rich, and just right. This holiday season especially, they’ve been our go-to. Between Christmas Eve, hosting family, and New Year’s, we ordered several XL pizzas to keep things easy and delicious. Whether it was a big family send-off or a last-minute meal, Nancy’s came through every time.
Fred and his team care deeply about their customers. I know firsthand how tough running a pizza place can be—the ovens are blazing, the pace is relentless, and mistakes happen. But at Nancy’s, if something’s off, they stand by their product and make it right. That’s a rare quality and one of the many reasons we’ve been loyal for over 15 years.
Our usual order is a stuffed pizza: half black olives and spinach, half sausage and mushroom. For our son, it’s pepperoni and Canadian bacon. Every bite is a reminder of why Nancy’s feels like home. It’s not just the food—it’s the experience of knowing you’ll get exactly what you expect, every time.
Nancy’s has become part of our family’s story. From lazy movie nights to busy holidays, their pizza has been a comforting constant. If you haven’t tried Nancy’s in Niles yet, you’re missing out. And if you ever have an issue, just call Fred. He takes pride in what he does and will make it right.

They also have other selection of food on their menu, all of it is delicious, and can really make your mouth waters. They have sandwiches, fries, rice meals, desserts, beverages, etc. All of the food on their menu is really worth a try and incredibly delicious. You can also try and order anything you might like on their menu in such an affordable and fair price. They are really great and way cheaper than other pizza spot around the area. You can really save a lot of money here while eating delicious and phenomenal pizza. I really love Nancy’s Pizza! Their place never disappoints. The only complain is their counter, customers moving slowly, and the lines are long. You will have to wait for a few minutes before your turn to order. Nancy’s Pizza is incredible that is why their place is crowded sometimes. But overall is really good and awesome. Very friendly and welcoming place. I would really love to go back here again soon when I have some free time. Will continue to explore more of their food on the menu. Thank you guys for an awesome service and great experience. You are the best! I am really amazed with your food and service. Thank...
Read moreIf you're looking for authentic, delicious pizza, Nancy's is the place to go! Our family has been enjoying their pies for 16 years, ever since I met my husband. They never disappoint, always delivering a consistently fantastic product. The difference between Nancy’s and other pizza places is night and day—no "frozen Home Run Pizza" here, that’s just wrong! Everything is fresh, from the dough to the ingredients, and the pizza is made exactly how you want it. You can get a crunchy, thin crust or a thicker, but still perfectly balanced, one that isn't too doughy. We've had everything from their extra-thin crust to their stuffed pizza, and I still can't get enough of their cheesy, saucy goodness. Every bite is packed with flavor, and just thinking about it makes my mouth water.
Nancy's offers the best crust, cheese, and sauce in the area, hands down. The family-friendly, cozy atmosphere really adds to the experience. Our son loves their pepperoni pizza and calamari, and my husband always asks for extra pizza sauce for dipping! Plus, it’s budget-friendly, which makes it even better.
Over the past week and a half, we've ordered plenty of pizzas, and they've all been perfect—just the way we like them. If you're craving some real Chicago-style pizza, Nancy's is a must-try
You need suggestions for catering, or the number of people to feed, just call and ask. We have ordered seven over the past week and a half, we could've gone to other places that are just as convenient for us, but we always go back to Nancy's for their taste...
