W Coffee & Tea — Restaurant in Maine Township

This place is BY FAR my favorite cafe! Let me just start off by saying the owners are so so sweet and so welcoming and everytime I go, they make me feel special. W coffee is the only coffee that has the PERFECT coffee:sweetness ratio. The coffee flavor is so strong but not too overpowering bc of the added sugar. My go to order is the marble coffee with 80% sweetness and sometimes I’ll add salted cream foam on top and it’s a game changer!! The marble coffee regular is more on the sweet side so I tell them to make it a bit less sweeter. I have also heard very good things about their strawberry matcha! I’ve tried some of their dessert options as well and I loooove the mango dessert! The dessert is super fresh and perfect for those who have a sweet tooth. I have been to so so many cafes and this is the only THE ONLY coffee shop where it is so much more affordable (a small costs right under 7$) and it’s so worth it! Please please please go try out this coffee shop because I’ve put so many people on to this spot and they always go and tell me how much they loved it! grand opening of w coffee and tea! we were so excited to try this place since we live so close. we ordered the thai tea unsweetened with tapioca, oolong milk tea with cheese foam, and a matcha tiramisu. they did give me the wrong order three times but the workers were super sweet and owned up to their mistakes! and I get it, it was their first day so no worries there :’)

the thai tea was milky and the tapioca was cooked perfectly, nice and chewy! I really liked my drink since it was actually unsweetened! usually when I get thai tea at other shops they can’t do no sugar since they’re usually premade. my sister liked her drink too and said the cold foam was a good addition to her drink.

we both enjoyed the matcha tiramisu. could have been soaked a little longer but it was good. they also gave us flan cake since they gave me the wrong order at first. it was also good and not too sweet!

Today me and my friend went to w coffee & tea and got a food poisoning. Order a Vietnamese iced coffee , mango tiramisu, a honey cake, egg croissant and ham and cheese croissant. The coffee was enjoyable. However, within a few short hours of consuming, both my friend and I developed severe symptoms of food poisoning. This included intense nausea, stomach cramps, vomiting, and other unpleasant gastrointestinal distress. It utterly destroyed our day and evening. This indicates a serious failure in food safety practices, likely involving improper storage, contaminated ingredients, or desserts being kept well beyond their safe shelf life. Please prioritize your health and avoid this coffee shop. We hope management takes immediate action to investigate their kitchen hygiene and food handling procedures before someone else gets...
