Let me tell y'all a little story. Been out of work for a while now, ever since contracting covid and going through full respiratory failure it's been hard to keep a job with asthma and a child and a wife with a changing work schedule.
Went to Larry's with my pastor and after his recommendation I finally applied, spoke with the manager/kitchen manager owner/whomever, named Caleb. Interview went great, ended with him talking about starting my training that coming Friday.
Was told I get a call back later that day.
Never got a call. A week went by, and I reached back out. Was told once again I'd get a call back and that as far as the front end manager (Toni) knew I was gonna be hired and Caleb would give me a call.
Never happened.
A week later I went up there to inquire about employment. Was finally told he would give me a call once a spot opened up.
Another week - still no word. Reached out to my pastor and he even told me as far as he knew I'd be getting a job.
A call back never happened.
Finally talked to Caleb this morning and he gave me grief and told me not to ruin my chances now because he didn't like to be bugged, which to me calling once a week isn't bugging an employer, it's checking in.
In short, at this point I wouldn't work there and won't eat there ever aga. The food is subpar and a lack of respectful communication from the management and an attitude says a lot about the business.
Good luck eating and/or working...
Read moreMy husband and I arrived around 4:45 pm, Sunday 4/27/25, and ordered two large teas, along with the two large specialty pizza special for $28.99. We ordered our usual favorites-a BLT (bacon, lettuce, and tomato) and a cheeseburger pizza. After about 10 minutes, the waitress came and told my husband that they were out of bacon so what did we want them to do with our BLT pizza. Since bacon is kind-of a foundational piece of that pizza.. We said, don't worry about the special. Cancel the BLT and just give us the large cheeseburger pizza. The waitress said ok and went to modify our oder. A few minutes later, I went to the two waitresses (who were talking to the cooks through the window) to clarify if they had no bacon, did that mean that the cheeseburger pizza wouldn't have bacon either. I was told, adamantly by a cook and one waitress, that cheeseburger pizzas had no bacon on them. I had read the ingredients for each pizza, on the menu (in attached photo), when I ordered so I knew that was incorrect information. At this point, rather than get a pizza minus the appropriate topings, we cancelled our pizza order totally; paid for our two teas; and gave our business to Cotija's instead. Terribly...
Read moreWe are staying overnight in Malvern on a trip to see family. Larry's Pizza was across the parking lot from our hotel. We walked in not knowing what to expect. First, we found out that BOTH our 2 year old and 4 year old were free. Then we found out that their buffet started at 5 (two minutes after we walked in." Thinking this was a typical buffet, I went ahead and got a salad while we waited. Next thing I know, the waitresses were walking around, calling out all different kinds of pizza, from as simple as pepperoni to new-to-us kinds such as baked potato pizza!! We are from Nashville, TN and have never seen a pizza place like this. We loved it!! The pizzas are thin crust and loaded with toppings. Just as we were sitting here, unable to eat another bite, they walk around with a s'mores pizza!!! That was AMAZING! If we ever stay in this area again, we will definitely come back!!
We were told that they are usually slammed on their supper buffet nights, which are Tuesday and Friday, but they JUST restarted their supper buffet on Saturdays (the night we were here). There were about 8 tables filled, but they...
