Location plays a role when dining. It is conveniently located just off the Atlantic Ocean on South Ocean Blvd, providing a picturesque location before and after driving from dinner. Parking is easy and plentiful. Quick walk to the restaurant. The ocean is located a block away and the smell of the ocean mist provides a unique atmosphere. Upbeat and contemporary design awaits patrons entering the restaurant. Most important walking into this restaurant there is no smell of exhaust, burnt oils, or musky scent like other Thai restaurants. I guest next too the ocean and the owners making a proactive approach to stand out amongst the numerous other Thai restaurants makes this place a gem. The interior is decorated and modern. there is a host of friendly staff that will remember you even after a first visit and treat you like family. They are most accommodating and don't mind going that extra effort to provide great service. My server Jeff after visiting once , already knew my preferences. There is no place from Orlando to the keys that would provide fast service, great prices, family atmosphere, and most important great food. The servers and host is top notched. I took my parents there the second time and service and food was excellent. I highly recommend this place and the server Jeff. For a real Thai restaurant experience this is the place to go and prices/drinks are reasonable. For all the tourists/visitors into West Palm Beach please visit this place as you will not be disappointed. The scenery before and after the restaurant alongside the ocean is more than worth going to a sleazy strip plaza. My full article of this place is on the New York Times with pictures of the excellent dishes and...
Read moreJust moving into the area I was looking for a good place to get some food and I spotted this restaurant while at publix. It's my anniversary with my husband and we both work late and was looking forward to getting some food after a long day of working..also wanted to just relax at home with some take out to have some fun during this stressful time of Covid-19. We got our take out and opened up the food and I wanted the chicken teriyaki and when I opened it, I was beyond upset because the chicken was extremely dry and the sauce was on the side. The person who took our order didn't mention to us that it was going to be on the side, which they should mention to their customers. I called the restaurant to express that I was upset about this and wanted to see if we would be able to get a credit, or maybe be able to have it re-made. When I called one of the females who work there pulled the phone away from her face and mocked what I had just told her to the manager I'm assuming. The manager came on the phone and told me that since they closed at 10:00 pm and we called at 10:05pm that there is nothing they could do and that they feel as if they did us a favor by taking our order even after they were closed.
We only called there because on google and iPhone maps it shows that the restaurant closes at 11:00 pm. If they closed at 10:00 they simply could have told us that they were unable to take our order. I have NEVER had an issue like this from a restaurant and I am beyond disappointed and upset because why should someone be treated like that....
Thank you THAIKYO for ruining my...
Read moreI’m leaving one star because i have to. If i could leave none i would. My friend said we should try this place so we went and the experience was horrible. The area is nice so i figured we’d have a good experience. We walked in and were not greeted, we had to ask to be seated from a very cold man that did not say two words to us. Then we say there for 10-15 minutes, mind you the restaurant was probably about 80 degrees. Very uncomfortable. No one even approached us or offered to get us drinks while the waiters kept passing with out even making eye contact. So we stood up to leave with waiters seeing this and not even saying anything. We figured we’d them another chance and order take out. We stood at the bar with no one offering to help. Now all the diners are looking at us. So embarrassing. I only Got someone’s attention because when a women walked by i said to my “this place is rude”. We placed our order and she said 20 minutes. 30 minutes later the cold rude man dropped the bag down so rough on the counter and again we stood there with no one talking to us. I asked For eel sauce on the side and they seemed very bothered that they had to get it for me. Finally we were rung up and could get out of that sauna of hell whole. So now this sushi has to be good right? Wrong. The Alaskan roll taste like old rotten blue claw crab from a can. And it’s chopped up so fine and mushy i cant even pick the roll up with chop sticks, not that i can even stomach to eat it anyways. This food was not fresh. The food is equivalent to 12 Chinese buffet sushi. Never going back....
