We visited the park but were unable to get by the Walk way as our adult son is in a wheelchair. We are very sad that you do not provide access to the area for fishing โน๏ธ or to enjoy the picnic area. I used the very clean ladies room and met MARIA ๐๐. She had just finished cleaning it and I thanked her greatly and told her how much I appreciated her. She said it was a thankless job and that the Men's room was just gross. She is becoming afraid of some of the homeless men there. I am asking Mr. Eddie Crockett to PLEASE make a way for ALL disabled folks to use your beautiful Bicentennial Park. ย ย ย Read morePresident Gerald R. Ford Lantana Bicentennial Park is on the west side of the Ocean Avenue drawbridge. It's a beautiful and shaded spot with a small parking lot, playground, some park benches and a public restroom.
There is a great view of the Intracoastal here with boats going in both directions, some hanging around to wait for the drawbridge to open. There are some walking paths and some of the picnic tables are in the shade.
The signage indicates that you are not to back into the parking spaces. This is enforced and is so that the meter maids can check license plates. Parking is paid with an app and you'll need to put in your license...
