Batch. — Restaurant in Manasquan

Extremely disappointed with Batch. Yesterday, I visited with a friend who has a severe nut allergy. We asked if Batch is a nut safe establishment, and were told that though cross contamination is possible, they could safely prepare her a coffee. Well, after one sip of her coffee, she started having an allergic reaction. She was served a MACADAMIA NUT MILK latte after being reassured that the barista making her coffee was made aware of her allergy - clearly not. If the employee taking orders had only taken the allergy seriously this could have been avoided. The staff, including the manager, was entirely unapologetic and overall rude when I came in and asked what they served my friend. Meanwhile, she’s on the way to the hospital for an allergic reaction that their negligence caused. I am a repeat customer and was excited to show my friend a favorite coffee shop of mine, but am unsure if I will return. If you have a nut allergy, please avoid Batch for...

Visited this establishment on a Saturday in September and loved it! My daughter and I had a special pumpkin spice coffee with the marshmallow cold foam. It was the most delicious coffee ever. The coffee quality was off the charts and the homemade marshmallow cold foam was the perfect consistency and flavor. This coffee was not sweet which I loved. All fresh good clean ingredients without sugary crap syrups. We also loved the peanut butter blondie. So delicious and again made with real ingredients like dark chocolate oats and real peanut butter. There was a line out the door and I totally understand why. I absolutely love this place and its vibe! I feel the vibe fits so well with Manasquan! The interior has huge potted plants greeting you as you walk in. The floor is hard wood and they sell local beach inspired art work. They sell accessories for plants, stationery, jewelry, sustainable hand and tote bags, soaps, maple syrups, dog toys and other items. It is definitely worth your time to explore the items for sale as you wait for your drink. The cafe has coffee and non-coffee options and they even have a variety of smoothies, juices, specialty drinks, and toasts and wraps.
