Green Planet Coffee Co — Restaurant in Manasquan

In a similar sense to a previous review, I felt very uncomfortable and as if I was inconveniencing the staff when I visited Green Planet. I took my time in choosing which I then apologized for bc the young woman behind the counter seemed annoyed. I asked for an iced latte but what I got definitely wasn’t that: what I received was essentially 3/4 cream, 1/4 cold coffee, and 4 ice cubes. I tried to drink it but it left that weird film and aftertaste in my mouth that happens when you’re drinking that much dairy. So unsatisfying especially for such a cute coffee spot. Definitely...

I felt very unwelcomed. I went in and no one said hi to me and when I walked in they started at me. I had to wait for my sister to get out of her appointment so I sat in for 40 minutes and I felt rushed to leave. The worker started cleaning around me and I thought that they were closing so I checked their hours and they closed at 7 and it was only 5:20...I've been to the Point Pleasant store and it was 10x more welcoming. Another kind of greenwashing place. You'd think they'd try to reduce waste and use glass & ceramic ware, but they don't. When I was in, the internet was down as well, which happens, I know... but added to a negative experience. A wrapped food-bar I got was good, and the staff was OK. But not a good experience for me.
