I recently had the pleasure of dining at a fantastic pizza and pasta place, and I can't contain my enthusiasm to share my exceptional experience. Not only were the food and ambiance top-notch, but our server, Alex, truly elevated our dining experience to new heights with their outstanding service.
From the moment we were warmly greeted at the door, Alex's genuine smile and welcoming demeanor made us feel right at home. Their enthusiasm and passion for their job were evident, and it translated into an unforgettable dining experience.
Firstly, let's talk about the food. The pizza and pasta offerings were absolutely divine. The pizza crust was perfectly crispy on the outside and delightfully chewy on the inside, and each bite burst with the flavorful toppings. The pasta dishes were cooked to perfection, with al dente noodles smothered in rich and savory sauces. The culinary team behind these creations truly knows their craft, and every bite was a delight.
But what really made our visit exceptional was the exceptional service provided by Alex. They demonstrated an impressive knowledge of the menu, effortlessly guiding us through the various options and suggesting incredible combinations that perfectly suited our tastes. Their attention to detail was impeccable, ensuring that our drinks were always filled, our table was clean, and our overall experience was nothing short of exceptional.
Alex's friendly and accommodating nature added an extra layer of warmth to our evening. They patiently answered all our questions, made sure to accommodate our dietary preferences, and went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction. Their efficiency and attentiveness were truly remarkable, as they effortlessly managed to provide excellent service to every table in the busy restaurant.
It's not every day that you encounter a server like Alex, who possesses an exceptional blend of professionalism, passion, and a genuine desire to make every customer feel special. Their warm and personable approach created a welcoming atmosphere, making us feel like valued guests throughout our visit.
In conclusion, if you're looking for an outstanding pizza and pasta place, I highly recommend this establishment, and I urge you to request Alex as your server. Their incredible service and attention to detail will undoubtedly enhance your dining experience, leaving you with a lasting impression and a desire to return again and again. A big thanks to Alex for making our evening...
Read moreRecently, I was home at the Jersey shore visiting my parents for the holiday, which is a place I grew up at and have family living at for over 60 years. We are a proud local family to the Jersey shore. My parents who are in their late 70s often get gift certificates to this restaurant which they save for special occasions to feed the family when everyone is around. We also get their anniversary dinner delivered to them every year from Esposito‘s so we are fans of the food. That being said the last time I was in there, my parents had given me one of their gift certificates to purchase a pizza for the grandkids. This was an older gift certificate, which came with a lot of speculation from the staff behind the counter as I tried to use it, they said that the person who issued it no longer worked there and they had no way to tell what the value on the card was. This was really an issue that seemed quite silly. Seeing as I had the original receipt which my mother had saved to show them as well. The young girl behind the counter, said that the owner might not honor it, which in my mind is illegal. You cannot take money for a gift certificate and not redeem the full value. Now, obviously it would never escalate to anything serious, but being long time locals who would never screw a local business out of any money this came with a sour taste as they tried to sort out if I was using a previously discarded gift card or something like that. I felt like they were making me out to be some sort of criminal when I was literally going to pick up a single pizza for my elderly parents and their grandchildren to have dinner a pizza which I would’ve happily paid for if I didn’t have the certificate. It wasn’t exactly the best Christmas spirit I will tell you that. All that aside I believe in local businesses, I believe that the girl behind the counter was fearful to ask her employer about honoring the gift certificate, but I do think this place is great and will continue to be great and services. Manasquan greater area very well that being said as a reviewer, I cannot give it a five star for...
Read moreThis location used to be one of my favorite restaurants when it was East Main Street Trattoria. It had a great atmosphere and great food to match. Now, it's Esposito's, and if I'm honest I have to say the experience was not what I was hoping it would be. As a precursor to my review, I'd like to say that I know that it's a completely different restaurant, so I understand that they weren't necessarily going for the exact same atmosphere and food.
Food: 3/5
Figure I would start with the most important category first. The food was generally good. I started with a slice of their award winning sesame seed crust pizza. It tasted fantastic, and is definitely award worthy. Very flavorful and the sesame seed crust added a uniqueness to the pizza that I've never tasted before. Definitely a five star slice. Moving on to my entree, I got the chicken marsala. The first step is admitting that you have a problem, and I admit that I am a chicken marsala addict. It was not a bad dish by any stretch of the imagination, but I felt that the sauce could use a bit more flavor. One of the pieces of chicken was also quite tough. Besides that, the portions were huge and I was generally happy with the dish.
Atmosphere: 2/5
Here's where I was bothered. I loved the atmosphere at East Main Street Trattoria. The decoration here was bland in comparison - not much on the walls, and the entire space was basically designed like a pizza joint. Lights turned all the way up, TV on the wall in the dining room with football playing. Definitely not a place for a date night. The pizza was served on metal plates, and the bread was served in one of those plastic diner baskets that fries and burgers usually come in. This all being said, as I said at the beginning of my review, when restaurants are made into different restaurants I completely understand that they're not going to stay exactly the same. I am simply saying that I personally preferred the old atmosphere.
All in all, I'd say stop on by if you're looking for an absolutely fantastic pizza or a casual, overall solid...
