Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Manasquan

A small group of us came in to eat today and as we were getting ready to pay for our food. I ask to if they offered a military discount and who I assumed was the manager/shift manager stated that "No, we do not offer military discount" and I would have been fine if he just left it there but that did not happen. I understand that is their choice and there are many business that don't offer this discount and I am fine with this. But then he had to double dip with a condescending tone and attitude that they do not offer because of that military base (National Guard Training Center, Sea Girt NJ), and that was their main income potential.

My wife introduced me to Jersey Mike's. She's a Jersey girl. A franchise opened near us in Maryland and after some good sandwiches I tried to open a MyMikes account. This failed miserably. Every attempt ends up with a requirement to enter a code sent by text message, a code that never shows up. Tech support from Jersey Mike's just keeps sending me down the same rabbit hole that leads to the code that never shows up. I've asked for them to just activate my account and they ignore me. I've written CEO and owner Peter Cancro. Crickets. I didn't really expect anything else but I was prepared to be impressed. Jersey Mike's makes good sandwiches. As a person with Celiac Disease who has to eat gluten free with no other choice I’m very happy with my experience here today. I struggle everyday to find any place to eat out at without the fear of becoming extremely ill. I was very appreciative of the staff who did their part in taking preventative measures without me even having to ask ex. Thoroughly cleaning the knife used to cut my sub, and changing their gloves. I truly can’t appreciate this enough. I visit Point Pleasant beach more than often throughout the summer. I will most definitely be back....
