My boyfriend and I went to lunch here today. It was a quiet Sunday morning so there was plenty of room to park and walk around in the shops surrounding the diner. We wanted to find a little hole in the wall place near us! My boyfriend got the “paramountal” breakfast which had a choice of french toast or pancakes with eggs and sausage/bacon. The french toast was so soft and flavorful! It tasted like a cinnamon bun. I got blueberry pancakes with lemon curd. The pancakes were a little bland but the sausage was amazing! It was crispy on the outside but soft on the inside. I also loved the atmosphere of this diner. It had the classic red seating and stools. It was family owned by a nice couple who came and talked to us for a few minutes. The bill was very cheap too for the amount of food we got. Overall it was a very calm and homey experience and we will definitely be...

If I could rate this establishment a zero I absolutely would have. We barely made it through the door before we were abruptly stopped and told we couldn’t dine with my 6 month old infant. The stroller was considered a fire hazard according to them. I have been to numerous places and have never experienced a thing like this. We were asked to sit outside their patio in 64 degree weather to dine to which we declined. There establishment was completely empty with areas to be accommodated but they refused. We left and stood outside trying to search for a different option when the gentleman at the diner decided to come out and encourage us to sit outside to which I declined again. He then proceeded to say, “Well you’ve been outside for 5 minutes.” I couldn’t believe my ears. He then proceeded to say that no establishment within the area would take...

Went here on 9/6 for lunch with my ole lady. The service was great even though the place was packed. Wait time was normal to get our food and the meal was fantastic. Fast forward to Sunday afternoon, we walk into a cafe in Pt Pleasant and look at the menu and decide to leave and go BACK to Paramount. Arrive and the line is out the door. Talked to the hostess/owner and the wait is only 15min. She texts me when the table is ready and we have another spectacular meal and have declared Paramount Diner our go-to spot when we come to town. The owners are fantastic, wait staff were attentive and polite even when every table is full. And the kitchen is top-tier. Highly recommended the “Couped-up Chicken Sandwich”. We can’t wait to...

This was my first time at this diner. We had a good experience. I like how the decor is retro and how they the restaurant clean. The food was good, I wish the breakfast potatoes were a little better. When you order pancakes or waffles they charge you $2 per toppings. My friend got a single waffle and got charge $4 for adding 2 pieces of strawberries and 4 small pieces of bananas plus $1.50 for getting maple syrup. Beside that our experience was good. The service was great, the server was helpful, patient and really nice. Parking is not so bad usually there are spots near by on the street. I recommend paying with cash, they charge a 3% processing fee for cards, I noticed this is a new thing with many restaurants now a-days.

Random pick for breakfast with my parents on Saturday 5/20/23. Small place and was crowded but no wait and able to get a table by the window. Noticed on the menu that a side of avocado was over $3. I could have bought one at the store and brought it with me for less. My mom wasn't a fan of the coffee...said it tasted different 🤷🏻‍♀️. I got short stack of Nutella French toast with a side of bacon and eggs. We all pretty much cleaned our plates. Hostess (maybe owner) was very friendly. Waitress was friendly but appeared new or flustered. Wouldn't request to come back here but wouldn't oppose if someone suggested it.
