Monza — Restaurant in Manassas

Tonight was a nightmare experience . First the manager says they can accommodate 14 people. So we sat and ordered . After few minutes i have to call the server to say there is a dead BIG cockroach where we got seated . Disgusted 🤮 but he apologized for it and got it. After 30 minutes of waiting for our main order I called the server and she told us 15 more minutes hopefully. After nearly an hour of waiting we asked again and they said another 10 to 15 mins. Meantime every table around the area got served even the large group that came after us. Disappointed and never going to recommend at all. Basically it was a poor management considering the manager said they were under staff after more than an hour??? He kept on asking what can he do…and i told him none because it has been done. We cancelled our order and told him we will pay for the appetizers . So this is my point of view of the situation, 1st they should have not let us sat down there in that corner or they could have us transferred knowing there is pest , 2nd they should have given us a heads up that it will take longer than the usual, and 3rd they should have apologized for keeeping us waiting for more than an hour and should have checked on us knowing their kitchen is slammed. The manager could have prevented this if he checked all the customers through the servers. All he could say was sorry but told him it happened and has been done. We payed for what we ate but this was definitely a horrible experience . By the way our orders were probably just the easiest, pizza, pasta and kids meal. No excuse for such a...

If I could give this restaurant 0 stars I would.

It took forever to get menus, we actually had to ask for them.

Our waitress sat at a table with her friends directly across from us while we waited on waters. One person in our party ordered a soda that never came. We ordered 3 apps which weren’t great and took forever to come. It is unclear if this is because our waitress was just hanging out or if the kitchen was slow. When we finally received our entrees, one burger was completely rare. We sent it back and they sent out the same burger, which we think they threw on the grill where it was cut. This is unacceptable as the food was already on our table; I can’t imagine this is sanitary. When it came back to our table, it was still rare.

The rest of the food was bland and not good. I ordered a Buffalo chicken flat bread which was just chicken and onions on bread, no sauce. Out of the 6 of us, no one was satisfied with their meal.

After approaching a manager about our waitress’s inattentiveness and the raw burger, she offered us a gift card. We told her to keep it as we will not be returning.

When we received our bill, they charged us a credit card fee before they even knew how we were paying the bill. I asked them to remove the credit card charge as we would be paying cash.

Please do not ware your money or time (from sit down to exit we were there for about 2 hours) with this...

Horrible place! We went to give this place a try and wish we would have gone elsewhere. The food was actually ok but the manager was throwing a BF because they were out of oysters, pizzas, burgers and I don't know what else. He complained to the employees so many times all loud and saying F bombs left and right without caring that the customers could hear him. It was so annoying and we were literally so tired of hearing him complain and saying they can fire me I don't care, this is BS. A gentleman at the bar pulled him aside to tell him that what he was doing wasn't ok because he was tired of the nonsense too and I don't know what else was said but the manger ended up getting all loud and kicking the guy out telling him to get the F out! The manager then stood by the bar area and said to everyone next round of drinks were on him. We told him we didn't want anything and we just wanted for him to stop being so rude and unprofessional in front of the customers, because we don't need to hear all that over and over. He didn't like what we had to say and he proceeded to tell us to get the F out! We had already paid our bill and were on our way out when all this took place. He definitely can put on a show but he does not have what it takes to manage a restaurant. If you hate your job that much just quit instead of making a complete A** out...
