July 4th Fun! Enjoyed meeting neighbors at New Hope Christian Church booth in vendor section. We handed out over 2000 free bottles of cold water to folks and provided a baby changing table comfort station. Craft and Food booths galore were present and what I sampled was delicious! Fun way to start the day and end it watching the beautiful fireworks display City of Manassas provided. Love my little town and all it's beautiful people. Rock climbing wall was cool. Read moreCame for the Amtrak train ride on the Crescent. The simple "unmanned", air conditioned, inside waiting area was pleasant with two opposite benches. Rest rooms available . It appears the waiting room is automatically locked later in the evening. There is the cozy Jirani Coffeeshop directly across the tracks while you wait. Amtrak train ride was somewhat of a disappointment. Train arriving extremely late. At least I was able to receive the train status over my phone. Comfortable seats but not the smoothest ride.
