The Bone in BBQ The bone has become a Manassas Staple Offering foods of smokey flavor. I have visited here at least three times now to give it my review. The last time I was very pleased to see the prices on the board. When you walk in the Admosphere is very welcoming. The decor is just enough to give it this type of feeling and it's a very clean establishment. The staff welcomes you as you enter this too adds to the feeling. The menu board is plastered above your head in chalk as you walk in so take note of this when entering. It can be overwhelming so it would be nice if they had a simplified menu for the basics. But don't worry if your not sure the staff is very kind and will answer all your questions. The place is not huge when it comes to seating but in the summer outside offerings had been provided. Nevertheless you can always take it to go.
The food 😋 All the meat options are flavored to perfection and is much appreciated add to the old town food options. The fall of the bone Ribs and Brisket are my go too. You can get your platters here from 2 to 3 Meat choices. There are Special pairings if you look on the wall for specials. Yes don't forget the specials. Sides. This is were my praise kinda lingers. Potato salad is delicious! Greens to much vinegar I give them 3 out of 5. This is a quick fix on Restrants part by tasting before they serve them to public. Baked beans 2 out of 5 Why so low well beans are not to be chewy. I found them to be way undercooked. The flavor is awesome just need to soft and not chewy gross. The slaw is good so 5 out of 5 Dessert Drinks standard options but they do have tea. Not sure If they have hot though only cold from what I saw. They do have wine and beer and a bar!
I found some customers like myself wondering what to do after the meal. I was told to leave my stuff on the table. They bust them. This brings me to the tip options when they flip the screen. If they are providing a service like busting your tables. Please tip of your just taking out don't feel obligated. But always choice is up to you. They will flip the screen for you to tip every time. Before leaving if you didn't finish you food you can ask for a box. The staff if not with a customer do thank you for coming.
My over all take. Clean friendly great food atmosphere! Just need to work on the greens and beans.
I personally want to thank the staff and owners for putting prices on thr board and being a much needed part of the...

The menu at The Bone is a symphony of smoky meat delights, and we couldn't resist diving into their culinary offerings. Our taste buds were immediately tantalized by their heavenly pulled chicken stuffed potato skins. Each bite was a perfect harmony of tender chicken and crispy goodness, leaving us craving more. 😍🥔
But the delights didn't stop there. The sides at The Bone are equally impressive. We couldn't resist their sticky-sweet cornbread muffins—each bite was like a warm hug for our taste buds. 🌽❤️ And the meat platter? Oh, it was a true carnivore's dream come true. Juicy, smoky bone-in chicken and flavorful smoked turkey stole the show. And when paired with cranberry sauce, the turkey reached a whole new level of deliciousness. 🦃✨
The highlight of our meal was the towering Reuben sandwich. Layers of succulent meat, tangy sauerkraut, and creamy dressing came together between perfectly toasted rye bread. Every bite was a journey to sandwich paradise. 🥪✨
And let's not forget about their irresistible mac and cheese. Creamy, cheesy, and utterly satisfying. We couldn't help but swoon with every forkful. 🧀😋
While the baked beans leaned a touch too sweet for our liking, it didn't dampen our overall enthusiasm for this flavor-packed experience. The Bone truly excels at delivering smoky meat bliss. 💯🔥
The next time you're in the mood for a culinary adventure, make your way to The Bone. You won't be disappointed. Prepare to be captivated by their warm atmosphere, attentive staff, and mouthwatering dishes. A truly unforgettable dining experience...
Read moreWas recommended to it, but was sorely disappointed. It is a "fast food bbq" place like Mission BBQ or CookOut. It was a Thursday at 6pm in August so outside tables were available. Very light customers but only one worker who may have been the owner. I felt he was not welcoming at all. First time there, so I did not see the chalkboard menu mounted on the wall to my left but above my head. So after the only customer ahead of us finished ordering, he just stared at me as I moved forward. My colleagues pointed out the menu behind me. I ordered 2 meats 2 sides, with tap water to drink and it was $25. My other 2 guests ordered Nachos and a tap beer and brisket with 2 sides and an old fashioned mixed drink. Our bill was $102. 😳 For eating with plastic ware, that already wasn't worth it. We seemed to have to wait a long time but since he brought it to our table (he never said he would, so initially we just stood at the register until we saw him walk food out to the other customer). My baked beans were not American style (sweet) but more Mexican style (blackened beans in water) and coleslaw was very dry. My friends said the beer in a plastic cup was warm by time the food arrived and the other said it was by far the worst old fashioned he had ever had. My pulled pork (comes "naked") was great, but the sweet sauce they have really just tastes like watered down Baby Rays. I was not a fan of the (also) very thin house sauce. There was no introduction on how the restaurant worked, even though I had said it was our first time there, so when we were done we didn't know what to do with our plates. We saw another table left theirs, so since there were no trashcans, we did the same. Not worth the money. Go to the Mexican restaurant next store as they seemed to be more happy...
