I really had to think this one out. I still can't believe what happened to me on Aug 10th. This was my second visit here because it's close to the destination I was traveling to with my family. "Pizza is decent"
I went inside a long with my teenage son to pay for the pizza we called in. We were greeted by a man who could've been a manager (not sure of his position, but he did work there). As I go into my purse and pull out a $50 bill, he opened his drawer and then looked at his money. He asked me if I had another $50 bill because my $50 bill was fake! I said "excuse me"? He said your money is fake. I asked "how can you tell" because I was super surprised and curious at the same time. All he did was rub it and said "look at it". I said "what am I looking for sir". He said "you need to give this money back to whoever gave it to you". All of this in front of my teenage son who is looking very uncomfortable, yet shocked. I said this money isn't fake sir "he said "yes it is, give it back to who gave it to you". While thinking, I gave him another $50 bill and took back the other one. That's when I realized one had the new color printed on it, and the one that he declined didnt have color. He wanted the one that had the printed color on it.
Honestly he really did have me second guessing the bill because in today's scamming world, IT HAPPENS!....but I also felt in my gut he was scamming, lying, and scheming himself. In which my gut was right! Just to make sure it wasn't a faulty bill, I used the same $50 bill to put in a money machine and it took it with no problem at an official establishment.
MY FAMILY AND I WILL NEVER EVER EVER COME BACK TO THIS PLACE AGAIN. EVERRRRR!
While I came to write this review, I saw that the same exact $50 bill incident took place with another person. 6 hours before I wrote this. Please be aware of the type of business you are supporting. We were going to make this place our stop and go whenever we visited Manassas once a week. I'm so glad this happened because this is not the kind of establishment I want to support. I felt/ feel so disgusted....
Read moreI've been ordering from here occasionally (about once a month) since last year. I came across them via Google Maps and thought hey why not? They're a bit pricy from the start, but I liked the pizza. It's not THE best but it's decent.
I just ordered again today though and it's the last. Their customer service is ridiculous...so I place an order on my way home from work and ask what kind of specials they had. The special I chose was 1 large pizza and 20 wings for $19.99. Not a bad deal at all! On top of that though I ordered another large pizza so my family wouldn't have to cook.
Fast forward to when the delivery guy gets here, he gives me the food and hands me a bill for $42.95. I ask if the guy gave me the special I asked for and he just said, "Yeah yeah yeah" (gave the impression that he didn't understand me-- he was some older middle eastern guy). I said alright..well how much is a large pizza (no toppings, just a cheese pizza) and his reply, "um I'm not sure off the top of my head". Wtf? You work there lol so after going back and forth I just said screw it...I'm starving since I skipped lunch. I'm not one to squabble over a little bit of money so I pay him, even tipped him when I felt I shouldn't have since he wasn't being helpful...AT ALL.
I literally just checked their menu and it's $11 for a large cheese pizza. The 1 large pizza and 20 wings is actually $22.99 (the guy on the phone said $19.99). But even then its a total of $34 plus tax-- one of his many excuses was that the city of Manassas has a 9% tax. I didn't even know that...but even then it would be only a few bucks totaling $37... Anyways moral of the story make sure they tell you the total before. I'll let them keep my $5 since they seem to desperately need it and just never order from there again. Really what lost me was their customer service... There's plenty of other pizza joints...
Read moreWe Love Love Love Pizza Time’s Wings. Some of the best wings I’ve had. I always compare the Flats. The texture, moisture, and Hot Buffalo sauce are my fave. Blue cheese dressing fan here. The crumbles of blue cheese are fresh & perfect. He sauces them well and the chicken has great flavor. Our other fave is their pizza - our favorite home made sauce of any local pizza place! We always ask for heavy homemade sauce on our orders. Cheese is good quality. Pizza time is my go to for wings and awesome saucem pizza. Occasionally our family enjoys their pastas- so far the chicken parm has been very good- plump juicy flavorful and of course : their sauce! The pasta is perfect texture. Occasionally we get the spanakopita- tasty savory flakey pastry , not too garlicky and with nice tangy bite to the feta and some light lemon (?) flavor to the fresh spinach! We and the kids love pizza time- and we always get delivery - always...
