Don't know what is going on here. Apparently, the standards at Wendy's are sadly not uniform from store to store.
Gave this place another try today. Changing from 3 stars to 1 star.
Pulled up to the order kiosk, at the drive-thru, and waited... and waited. After saying, "Hello", waiting longer, and watching the guy behind me inch impatiently closer to my rear bumper in his big dirty GMC SUV, "Is anybody back there?" To both no one answered, so I drove up to the pay window.
Even though the window was closed, and tinted, I could see a girls big grin from my car. Apparently that someone was waiting in the drive-thru, unnoticed, was funny to her. It was not funny to me. They did not have a good explanation as to why they were standing there yawing while two vehicles sat in the drive-thru waiting for an inexcusable amount of time. This would not have happened had someone simply been WATCHING a monitor.
My second issue was with my order: A 1/4 cheeseburger. They put it on a bun that you use for a junior cheeseburger. I guess they thought that I wouldn't notice that the bun was too small for the burger. If they had run out of the appropriate buns, why didn't someone say something? Maybe I could have adjusted my order to something else.
Just cheap, sloppy, paying no attention to anything that they're doing, service.
Don't even bother with this Wendy's. Drive right on by.

Read moreSeemingly closes at random times during the night. Twice ive placed mobile orders only to get there and its closed during hours that should be open. The hours need to be updated and they shouldnt be accepting mobile orders if its closed.
If you pay with tap to pay on your phone, the workers seemingly have no idea how to use it. They will tell you its not working after multiple failed attempts, if you ask them to do it yourself it works just fine.
App coupons seemingly dont work at the store. You get there, place an order, when you get to the window and they scan it they always say it doesnt work. Last time they said some system was "offline" or something. But then you can place a mobile order with that same deal right after and...

We had tried using the app for the March Madness promo and was so frustrated by the whole process, we left the drive thru. Today, we had some time so we went into Wendy's to get some help. Armando was the man. Very, very helpful. He explained everything. Thank you Armando. Lucky for us there was no one in the store.
